I don't know if only mods are allowed to make talkbacks here like on the other boards, but I made one anyways.

Anywho, ROD The TV airs tonight at 12 EST/11 Central tonight on Anime Unleashed.

Episodes one and two air tonight.

I hope everyone enjoys them, especially viewers new to the concept of Paper Masters. :D

Wow, so now "(female dog)" is taboo on G4TechTV? Didn't know that.

Man, I can't keep watching this on TV. It's too damn distracting with G4TechTV's little speed-up thingy. It just seems wrong if you've watched the show before.

I think Toonami and Anime Unleashed have the same commercial strategy.

Jesus, I hate it when there's like 4 or 5 abrupt breaks in the show.

Tell me about it. I couldn't watch "Last Exile"'s opening on G4TechTV when I heard what they did to it (i.e., take out a fraction of a second in each beat, causing the song to sound choppy).

Still, really wish I could've watched "R.O.D TV", but my dormatory doesn't have access to that channel *sigh*

Well, eps 1+2 were pretty good. Not quite as much action as i'd expect, but the comedy and other stuff that was fluffed in there really kept me going. So i'll guess i'll keep watching it for now.

I've completely given up watching AU live. I have to record it to my DVR and watch it the next day. Those commercial breaks are infuriating. Especially since they're the same commercials every day.

Lemme get this straight, G4 censores the female dog word? What the hell? Old TechTV showed a naked Armitage! Not to mention Lain's frequent use of the s-word, and Armtiage having SEX with Leon

I blame Comcast for making TechTV a pitiful shadow of its former self.

Well, JC Staff once again shows that any excuse for jiggling is a good excuse.

Decent introduction. I like that the main character is actually allowed to be a complete jackass alot of the time. Definately adds some spice to the normal "unwated roommates" shtick.

And now "(female dog)" is bad but flipping someone off isn't? Yeah. G4's editing standards get weirder by the show.

I liked the sequence when the writer guy got really angry and the little metal ball in the pin was floating in the air and how everything happened so smoothly. That was nicely done. Also the manipulating paper was something I'd never seen before.

Michelle's accuracy was excellent, and Maggie using the paper as a shield from the explosion was just too cool. After they had taken care of the first guy, it was sort of funny seeing Nenene already in the plane with the guys other brother being held hostage who was also a writer. They seem to be able to do just about anything with the paper, and that huge bird looked spectacular. The animation and art was very nice too. It was a very entertaining episode especially near the end.

I somehow was kind of thinking that after the girls were kicked out of Nenene's house, she'd go and get them. Then the food incident, TV and diary scenes in the second episode were pretty funny. Also Maggie, Anita and Michelle, brushing their teeth gargling and spitting simultaneously was too.

Nenene gets ahelluva lot better around episodes 5-8, alot of memorable lines she spews forth

however the paper sisters are: not really actual sisters, there is no blood ties between them, they sorta found each other and starting calling themselves that

Not as weird as TRIO, which drops s-bombs but censors anything else above TV-PG.

The censoring on G4techTV's anime isn't that bad, because the show's pace has been mucked up by time-editing to the extent where it would be more worthwhile to rent the uncut DVD.:p

However Vol.3 is coming out this month

not to mention the OVA that is out already as well as Volumes 1 and 2...

so at 15-20 bucks a volume(if you opt for regular non-faux leather book edition that is super cool) it's definetly worth it

besides the pencil board for Volume 2..is well...revealing...somewhat

Watched it all as a block this weekend. I'm really liking it, it's right up there as favorite AU series with Last Exile.

Simple but nuanced sympathetic characters. Cool powers. A few interesting mysteries.

It sure would be nice if they'd present complete series but I have to admit that the Christmas episode is a good breaking point.

I watched it last night and they ended it at episode 12 "Twilight of the Papers".
It's sucks too, because that ended in a cliffhanger.
