"Looks can kill . . . especially when they're this ugly." LOL!!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D If it was an attractive actress, that would be a great poster.

Anyway cool poster however as I recall my actual training she seems to be holding her weapon the wrong way. But besides that it is a really cool poster, it seems that their making full effect of the sexiness that Electra should have and was lacking in Daredevil.

I find Garner cute but not...well Elektra's level of UBER FREAKING HOT. They need someone with black hair and well much more voluptious. Monica Belluci would have been nice if she were younger...I guess Garner's a decent choice, plus she's established from DD.

I'm not dating anyone right now, but it certainly wouldn't be her. :D

you're half right. if it was an attractive actress, the movie might be bearable. the poster, on the other hand, sucks. I can't get into a graphic design major at my college and there are people being paid to make this garbage? see it really is who you know that gets you ahead...

I always felt Elektra was cast wrong in the DD movie however Jennifer Garner is a very skilled actress and can do her own stunt (which she has shown on Alias) I don't think looks should matter. I'm sick and tired of always seeing a pretty face behind the superheroine. It's time to get real looking woman to save the day. I think Uma Thurman proved that in Kill Bill. No real smart and capable woman looks like Elektra or Selina Kyle or any of those comic book heroines who sickly look like supermodels.

Are those Ben Affleck making a Daredevil cameo still about? On SNL's season premiere, during the monologue, Affleck was poking fun at himself saying that he has appeared in two of his girlfriend's movies. The first one was Gigli obviously and currently Affleck is dating Jennifer Garner. Or was he talking about another girlfriend and movie? I hope the rumors are true because then having Daredevil make an appearance in Elektra would I think bridge the gap between the two movies really nicely.

Anyway I don't have a problem with how Jen looks since she is very pretty. But she isn't sexy. And see being sexy doesn't really have to do with looks, Barry White is one of the sexiest men who's ever lived but he's not that good looking. Jen just doesn't have that feel of sexiness that Electra should have.

The other film is Jersey Girl.

Ben Affleck has indeed filmed a cameo, rumour has it, it's merely a rumour at this point mind you, is that Colin Farrell, Bullseye, will also make an appearance.

Not sure if Ben will be Daredevil or not.

I like the poster too, looking forward to this movie.

Ah, that's right! Jersey Girl.

Anyways, like I said, hopefully the rumors are true. I've heard the Bullseye rumors too.

Personally I'm looking forward to seeing Terrence Stamp in this movie.

Wow.

That poster sucks.

I have two years experience of high school Graphics Design (though we were basically taught college level), and I could think of something better than that. I think Garner's pretty enough, but that shot makes her face look horribly misshapen. And the tageline needs to be somewhere else, where the eye will catch it better. Perhaps more in the center. It seems like the only reason the words are there now is because it's all black right there, and that contrast actually hurts the cool shading of the shot, facial looks not-withstanding.

Well, there's my rant. Still not interested in seeing it. >disappears<

Garner was built for this part, a viewing of any Alias episode will prove that. Also, for the people complaning about the graphic design on the poster, put your money where your mouth is and mock something up.

Jen just doesn't have that feel of sexiness that Electra should have. You know, not too long ago they made a movie about a superheroine that was designed on sex appeal exclusively. It was terrible. You know the one. Meeeeow...

And while it's true Elektra is the biggest male fantasy Marvel has to offer, I doubt anyone would see a film where all she does is wear tight leather and throw punches while gyrating around and spouting terrible one-liners. Who knows, maybe the movie will actually be like that, but I hope not.

At least Garner is prettier than some of the TV women that've come after her, like Eliza Doosh-Kooo. There could have been worse choices. The absolute worst IMO would be Hollywood's most unsexy lady, JAMIE LEE CURTIS! She's never had an attractive moment in her entire career. When Janet Leigh died I found out she was Curtis' mother; I guess that explains how Curtis got in the industry because it wasn't for anything else. I haven't seen True Lies, but just the thought of that one dance scene with her gives me the total shivers.

Trust me, I don't think this is gonna be another Catwoman. That was DC and Warner Bros. mistake. Marvel ain't making a "Catwoman" of their own.

Also, for the people complaning about the graphic design on the poster, put your money where your mouth is and mock something up.You know, I would, but given my current interest level, I'd probably spend about ten minutes working on it (just about as long as the people who made that poster, I'm sure ;)), and personally, I think that's still too much time and effort that I could better spend sleeping, or writing, or...I don't know...eating a sandwich.

Besides, I see no money. :D

And I thought this movie got canned.

Ah well. That's a decent looking poster, I s'pose. :)

I think this movie has potential to be something good. The director of the series worked on Reign of Fire, The Lone Gunman and both The X-Files movie and TV show so I think there is some pretty good talent to pull it off. And I have a feeling that this movie will be better than the theatrical cut for Daredevil. It won't be great, but it won't be Catwoman.

I thought the poster looked ok. At least it gives a bit of the feel of what the movie might be like. I do have hopes for the film, it definitely won't be as bad as Catwoman, but then again DD didn't get the greatest reviews and I thought it was a great movie. From that one promotional pic I saw awhile back, I do wish Jennifer had darker hair, but as long as the story is good I won't mind.
