Silver Bullet Comics (http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com/)has posted an excellent interview (http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com/features/109676989895936.htm) with Fallen Angel, Captain Marvel, and Madrox scribe Peter David. The interview focuses mainly on Fallen Angel, though, discussing Lee's character, Bete Noire's place in the DC Universe, and the series's future. Check it out, and discuss!

Howdy,
Most slick (and now up on the News Ticker). Thanks for the link!
I especially liked David's analysis on how people dumped Fallen Angel after 3 issues while continuing on with, say, Bruce Jones' Hulk for years. The same can be said for the hardcore X-Men fans.
I figure if I want my fix of nasty people engaged in highly violent actions of dubious morality, I'd rather have them in comics built for that purpose rather than having them retrofitted onto the existing spandex crowd. Fallen Angel and Sleeper both fill that need quite nicely.

I just won a free copy of the Fallen Angel TPB!!
Did y'all read the "fine print" at the bottom announcing the contest the interviewer was running? Free Fallen Angel TPB and Fallen Angel bookplate; I don't even pay for shipping.
Thanks Randomguy for bringing this to my attention!
Also, if anyone isn't reading Fallen Angel and wants to start, drop me a PM and I may be able to help you get started. I am gone on about how in love I am with the title on these forums many times and it seems redundant to go into it again unless someone actually wants to hear me.
Wow. Very awesome Barry, I saw the contest myself, but my shop never got any of the free issues so it was useless for myself. :(
Anyway, I've started reading the first few issues of the series and I like it a lot. I wish I'd started with the TPB, but then I wasn't sure If I'd like the series or not.
Cool interview, I'm glad to hear that other places have said they're interested in case FA doesn't work with DC. I do hope more people check it out, it's an entertaining series to say the least IMO. Nice to hear Peter David's take on some thing concerning the comic.
