For the first time in 14 years, "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" will be airing on a broadcast network, according to Zap2it.com (http://tv.zap2it.com/news/tvnewsdaily.html?21957). The WB Network will be airing the special Friday, Dec. 14 at 8 PM. For the past few years, the 1966 television special has aired on the cable network TNT, before shifting over to Cartoon Network.
The WB network also plans to air the new Christmas special, "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer," inspired by the hit song of the same name. The hour-long television special will air on Friday, Dec. 21 at 8:30 PM.
