This morning, homestar runner.com was noted on the BBC's computing program "Click online" here is what is said about the site from the BBC's website

Homestarrunner

This site, sent in to us by Julian Yeo, is for entertainment purposes only. The humour is pretty off the wall, but I found it right up my street. It is basically a site centred on a popular Flash cartoon character called StrongBad, and his associates.

On the site you can watch fun flash toons, play games and all sorts of other stuff. I love the interface, which looks like an old-fashioned console viewer - and when you click through and select a game your transition is an animation reminiscent of space invaders (very cute). Do not expect anything too intellectual though - it is a just a bit of off-the-wall fun and some excellent flash animations. (From http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/click_online/3706586.stm)

Note how it's made pritty clear that strongbad is noted to be wearing the pants.

Pretty ironic how they mention that Strong Bad is the main character, last time I checked I was pretty much sure Homestar was in the middle of attention.

Sometimes it's pretty annoying how the media present cartoons the wrong way.

Oh comon, it's not a conspritacy or anything. Face it, Strongbad e-mails are the big reason people visit Homestarrunner.com.

Cool, but it's kinda sad how people think that SB is the main guy. We need to get more non-SBEMail cartoons.

Who cares? If SB e-mails are the funniest thing they do, then they should keep doing them. And they're the weekly updates (generally speaking), so that's why people notice them most. Without those, the site wouldn't have become as popular as it is now, because people wouldn't want to come every week for the chance that there will be a new short toon.

Anyway, I remember a while ago The Screensavers (Tech TV) had a little report about the site. They showed a clip of Trogdor while they were talking.

The normal toons could be just as funny.

Could is the key word. The entire site is hit-or-miss, but SB's pretty much money.
