View Full Version : Does Medabots Season 1 actally have a storyline

I've just finished watching Medabots volume 1 (the uk verison that had 5 episdoes in it) and allthough I quite liked it there didn't seem to be an overall storyline, can anyone tell me if there is an overall storyline and if so what episodes does it start at?

Pretty much Ikki and Metabee spend a lot of time fighting off the Rubber Robos, and we are introduced to a number of new characters that will hang around with Ikki later on.

The storyline of Medabots is about the reason for Metabee's existence.

When does the world tolurment saga start (sounds like in DB/Z/GT/Pokemon?Beyblade/yuyuhakosko)

And when does Medabee start woundering about his existince

oh, and about ADV's DVD's: do they have the orignal Japense voices and subtiles e.t.c.

ADV's DVDs are dub-only.

The storyline basically really starts up once Rokusho appears and starts getting heavily involved, particularly once you learn about his past. After around Episode 26 when the first story-arc comes to a close, you get some filler, I believe, before the big tournament really starts up, and there's plot all over the place.

Rokusho shows up in the first ten episodes or so. He'll be around soon. The tournament starts way off at about mid-second season, so you'll have to wait a while for that. I might've missed something, but it wasn't so much Metabee pondering his existence. Instead we find out that Metabee (and Medabots in general), have a history that was previously undiscovered.

Ok thanks, I'll buy Vol 2 and 3. If it picks up then I buy 4-12 if not I'll skip to the Tolurment DVD's

Did Medabots end after the world tournament? Or was there more to it that never made it's way to the USA? I'm curious about Henry and his role in the show....

There's another season on ABC Family... but I didn't really bother with that one.
The campiness seemed toned down, and that's basically the only reason I watch.

Anyway going of topic a bit, am I he only one how things that Mr. Refere is the most hiliurus charter ever, I love the way he just pops up eveywere, and his voice is dubbed brillantly
