I turn to the experts for help:

Does CN usually run Tex Avery's JERKY TURKEY around this time of year? If so, what parts do they cut out?

I completely forgot that this gag was missing until I visited Jon's page.

"Jerky Turkey" (Avery; 1945):

CN: The gag where one Indian reveals he is "half breed" (one "half" an Indian, the other a businessman in suit and tie), and holding a sign reading "Heap Corny Joke" is cut.

We should be seeing this around T-day for sure. CN always celebrates big holidays with themed cartoons.

Another gag is missing. The part where the turkey changes the barrel position on the pilgram's gun. The pilgram tries to shoot the turkey, but instead he blows his own head off. Then, later revealed, his head is down his shirt.

With any luck, maybe they'll broadcast "Pilgrim Popeye" or Pilgrim Porky" sometime before then.

Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of seeing "Tom Turk & Daffy"?

Both those scenes you mention are on the VHS Tape (Which I have) "Nothing but the Tooth"
