Hello all,

I just came from the Toys R Us tonight and they have a version of the Batcave called the Shadowcast Batcave. This is the first time I have seen it there as I am in there almost daily. I could not get one today but they seemed to have plenty of them on display.

I also was lucky enought to score one of the new Superman figure sets with Lois. On another note ,has anyone seen the new Toys R' Us exclusive E.T. figures , they are actually pretty cool as they all interact with one another.

Well gotta run
Bill

I believe it was $50.00 when I placed it under the price scanner. As for which one it was.. I believe it was the animated one..though I am not too sure. There's one on e bay right now..go here.

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1664001153 and you can see what it looks like.

I am going back today to get myself one.

I can't believe that he has a buy it now price of 100.00

I also just scored in a trade a set of all the Batman the Animated series eps recorded originally off of Fox. I cannot wait to get them..they are supposed to be 9-10 in quality. My set was getting pretty ragged from all the viewing over the years. These will tide me over till they release the DVDS!

I've got the Batman Returns Batcave so I'll probably pass. I also have Alfred. So really the only difference is the color and the stickers. I have a feeling I can make them on my computer. But still for some reason I really want to buy that batcave..........

Does anyone know what version of the original animated series Batmobile that is pictured on the box?

It doesn't look like the color scheme matches the original or the new one with the bats all over it. Any clue?

Actually I don't think they've ever sold the batmobile they have pictured on the Shadowcast Batcave box. It looks BTAS but painted black like the TNBA one. I bet the reasoning for this was to show the Batcave door use for the car. Unfortunately the TNBA one doesn't fit through the batcave door so maybe they just decided to paint an BTAS one to make it look more like the TNBA one. The TRU batmobile exclusives were the black blue colored one with red wheels and a red winshield and the new one with cheesy bats all over it.

Actually, there was a batmobile from TAS released in all black. Back when the series first started. Bow... BOW before my knowledge!

Really? I still have the original batmobile that I bought way back in the beginning of BTAS toys and its not really black more black blue. I've never seen this other one. Anyone have a pic of the box for it??

A few questions on the Alfred toy included...

Did the original four-pack Alfred have black hair too? or was his white or grey?

Also, does this Alfred come with the tray and lobster like th original? I know it sounds corny, but I love lobster and have to get that tray!!!

Ya know it really shouldn't matter what color Alfred's hair is. If its black then paint it white with some permanent white arcylic paint. Trust me its really easy. I repaint a lot of the action figures Hasbro has made like the camoflauge Batgirl and the Undercover Bruce Wayne. Its fun because you have more accurate figures that are one of a kind!
