What is your favorite year of WB cartoons and what cartoons you like best from that year?
My favorite years has to be 1938 and 1939. My favorite cartoons of those years are:

(not the best with cartoon titles:)
1946 all the way
Both Clampett and Tashlin's swan songs (each making some of the best cartoons of there carrers right before they left), while jones started truly living up to his talent with his first couple of classic tunes. Rhapsody rabbit(one of freelings best) also happend this year I believe
If anything 1946 was a year of transition away from clampett/tashlins more spontaneous "looney" approach to jones and freelins more cerebral approach to cartooning. For better or worse the studio was never the same afterwards.
I guess the main reason i like 1946 is (with the exception of avery, and to a MUCH lesser extent Harman/Ising) all of the major WB directors had a higlight this year. Even though finances would never have permitted a staff with more than 4 units, the overall quality of the looney tunes product would increase with the additional input
