In five days the final episode to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters will be airing, and what a great series it has been. I have seen every episode but 197-198.

I can't rate the Ceremonial Duel yet, but here is my rating for each arc:

Duelist Kingdom Eps 1-40 - 3.5/5: Good duels, but I didn't really get into the series until episode 21 the first time I saw this arc.

Rebecca Duel Eps 41-42 - 2/5: Ok duel, nothing really that great except that ep 41's first 5 mins is technically the real end to DK.

Duel Monster's Quest Eps 43-45 - 4/5: I really enjoyed this filler arc because it was different.

Dungeon Dice Monsters Eps 46-49 3.5/5: This saga always varies for me. Sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes I don't. I really depends on my mood.

Battle City Eps 50-97 - 4.5/5: This has some of the coolest duels for the series, but this arc also begins the really unnecessarily long duels. Sometimes they are enjoyable, sometimes they are not, it all depends on the duel. And Yami Malik is one of the coolest anime villians ever!

Noa's Arc Eps 98-121 - 4/5: This arc was not that great the first time I watched it, but that was because I wanted to see the BC Finals. After I saw them, and rewatched this arc, I highly enjoyed it. The duels were also nice and short most of the time.

Battle City Finals Eps 122-143 - 4.5/5: The battle royal to determine who was going to duel whom was really interesting and funny. The duels themselves were really cool, especially the Yugi/Kaiba one becuase it was pure strategy, but I take .5 points off because the duels are just so long.

Doom Organization Eps 144-184 - 3-4/5: Actually this arc starts at 145 since ep 144 is a clip show, but I have mixed thoughts on it. It had its great moments like Yugi losing and then going psycho on Insector Haga, but then everybody but Kaiba acted out of character. Sure, it was understandable for Yugi, but Anzu was too clingy, and the others were too goofy. Raphael, Varon, and Amelda were pretty cool villians, and their theme music rocks. Again, some of the duels have a tendency to drag on a lot, especially the duel between Yugi and Kaiba vs Dartz. By the end though, this saga was an enjoyable filler.

Kaiba Grand Prix Eps 185-198 - ?/5: I need to see the final 2 eps to this arc, but from what I did see, the duels were not that great, but it was a nice break from the last few sagas, and from the upcoming saga. From what I saw, I gave it a 3/5.

Pharaoh's Memories Eps 199-219 - 5/5: This saga was just plain awesome! Lots of Egyptian themes (obviously), and the action was nice and fast. You find out the origins of the Millennium Items and why Yami Bakura hates the Pharaoh, and then you get to see more monster duels without the cards. This truly is my favorite saga. Oh, and Horahkty was just awesome. My only complaint was the Duel of Destiny, which lasted about a minute, but unlike the manga, it took place before the final battle with Zork, which made more sense since Atem (Yami Yugi) was supposed to be trapped in the puzzle after that.

Ceremonial Duel Eps 220-224 - 4/5: Man, what a duel. The first 3 episodes to it dragged on a little bit, but the last episode was just so freaking fast it was over before you knew it. And what an ending it was. IT was just awesome and I am happy it is finally over. Everything during the credits was funny as well.

Well, that is my rating, what are yours? Also, don't feel you have to give a reason why you rated each arc the way you did, I just wanted to get my feelings out. Plus I know not many people in the US have been watching the raws (or other sources) to see the Jp version.

So Darknite never came out, eh? I guess he was a video game "final boss" only.
