Just read over in alt.tv.cartoon-network that, starting Dec. 3, Smurfs will be back on CN, airing weekdays from 11 a.m. to Noon.

Of all the shows to come back to CN from Boomerang, this is it? How about some Yogi, or Huckleberry, or Top Cat?

Ugh....

Here is some shows that CN should dump on "Boomerang"

Alvin And The Chipmunks

Scooby Doo Movies, wait...Why don't they dump all of Scooby Doo programs on Boomerang...

Tom & Jerry kids

Mike Lu And Og

Johnny Bravo

Big Bag

Small World

The Jetsons

Max Steel

Cow And Chicken

Christmas specials: Smurfy Christmas, Christmas Comes To Pac land, Christmas In Bedrock and all that other annoying holiday shows, except "The Grinch" which is a classic.

Well, Boomerang is a "classic cartoon" channel, and doesn't play even half of that crap, just to let you know. Anyone ever notice how CN has NEVER played the Bugs Bunny Christmas Special? Fox Family aired it a few years back.

Here's an even better idea. The Cartoon Cartoon Channel. They could air all the cartoon cartoons on it. There could still be alot of room for Bugs & Daffy though. It could be part of a CN channel package.

Cartoon Networks Mega Toons!

Cartoon Network Basic
The Toonami Channel
The Classic Color Cartoon Channel
The Classic Black and White Cartoon Channel
Boomerang
Cartoon Cartoons!
All for just $5.95 a month!

How does that sound?

Well, if it's for ALL of them, I suppose, but I'd barely watch CN Basic, the Toonami channel, and Cartoon Cartoons!.

Doesn't TOONAMI have their own channel already? Geez, who would need 24-7 of crap like DRAGON BALL Z and TENCHI MUYO?

Sorry, I just can't stand that stuff. I thought I saw somewhere that it's getting it's own channel.

Stuff like Mike, Lu, and Og and Johnny Bravo would not fit it on Boomerang. They *do* air The Jetsons, though.

I LOVE IT! I am sold! That would be the only cable package I need. All that's missing is the Adult Swim Channel, assuming they could get more shows so we aren't forced to watch Home Movies for 24 hours!

The worst diliemma about a line up like this....what to watch, what to watch? There would always be something good on!

I remember there was talk of a possible Toonami channel if Boomerang was well-received.

And trust me, Scooby will never leave Cartoon Network. If you're sick of him now, wait until that movie comes out.
