...and he offered to make the episode/project/plotline of your choice, what would you pick?
For me, I would love to see Mr Timm and Co make an animated movie of the Kingdom Come saga. It has everything - our favourite characters, apocalyptic battles, metahuman mayhem, romance, despair, hope, philosophy. (I would also love to see it as a live action movie but I trust Mr Timm and Co more than I trust Hollywood to do it justice).
What about everyone else? A musical JLU episode? BB wiped from, or established as canon? Hawkgirl returns? Batman and Wonder Woman: The Wedding of the Year?
A full-blown movie with his Justice League, I don't really care about handcuffing Phantasm and Return of Joker, etc to their respectives shows for continuity's sake, so an DTV as you chaps call it using his Justice League (pre or post Starcrossed, I don't mind) with no boundaries/constraints to speak of, that'd be good.
Honourable mentions go to adapting the No Man's Land Rucka novel (it was heavily DCAU influenced anyway) or that Catwoman Beyond movie.

The Death and Return of Superman done right.
A backstory on The Flash with a focus on Barry Allen and his death.
A new major epic story that is two hours minimum and prominently features Batman and Superman.
I'll think of more, and of course when Mr. Timm say, "I only promised you one story," I will remind him that I saved his life which I think he should think is worth more than one plot. :)

Hi everyone,
I have a plan. We come up with a scheme to put b.t.'s life in danger. I'll spot him crossing the street, and try to hit him with my car, and one of you guys can push him out of the way at the last possible moment. Then, we split the bounty and get an episode we want! He'll probably do this anyway, but I'd like to see some of the dangling plot points from the original Batman and Superman series' resolved:
1. There was this guy with a mullet, used to walk around in red, green, and yellow before he went back to basic black. What ever happened to him?
2. So Lois, did you ever realize that the incredibly well-built guy you work with who's always disappearing just before Superman shows up could in fact be Superman in disguise?
There are various JL/U plots that could also use some resolution, but I trust that they'll be addressed. BB being the big one, of course, and that's getting it's spotlight.

But hypothetically... oh man... I'd love to see Teen Titans in the greater DCAU continuity, and the JSA, and Starman (with the Knights, Mikaal, the O'Dare's, the real uberbadass Shade, Good!Grundy...), and, and... you see the dilemna. Seriously though! I know about all the restraints WB has imposed upon the ADCU (BA anybody?), but this is one mega-event that simply MUST be done. No matter what it takes.
For something a bit more realistic, however, all I really want is to love the Wonder Woman on JL/JLU. She's been stripped of her lasso, her purpose, her religion and her alies and foes have all been reinterpreted. All I really truely want is for him and his team to do something really special with her...cause there's more to life than Superman and Batman.
War of the Gods, redone, so that it accomodates JL continuity, but moves Diana beyond the banishment and gives her life meaning, and a mission. I've been trying really really hard to adore what we've been given in terms of a Wonder Woman, but I can't and I want to. So turn her into the heroine we all know and love, and I'll be happy.
But for good measure, I'll also mention a Batman/Two-Face/Catwoman DTV, and (once more) the Near Apocolipse.
Thanks for listening.

I mean, if you don't find it funny, fine, but you don't have to make it your mission to point out failed jokes on this board. But hey, you don't want me mucking up this thread with my minor joke, okay. Then here's a legitmate request: Spiderman, Bruce Timm style. That character really needs the b.t. touch, because not one animated series involving spidey has gotten it completely right, (Though the 90's Fox Kids series came closest.)

a wonder woman series would be nice too. she really got short changed. she should have gotten her own series before the justice league started.
how about a sandman animated series. the neil gaiman one.

Hey guys. I'm a long time lurker on these boards, first time poster. I'm a huge fan of Bruce Timm's ADCU so it's funny that my first post is about wanting him to do something else, BUT...I'd like to see Mr. Timm handle a Star Wars cartoon with the original trilogy characters. There are various images around the 'net of Star Wars drawings he's done, and his gift for character design is as evident as ever. Season One could be pre-Episode 4, Seasons Two and Three could be between Episode 4 and 5, etc.
Jared1981

OK, first off, I agree wholehartedly with Killbot.....i've always said we needed a REAL Star Wars animated series, and if Timm was on the project.....SWEET, but we'd need all surviving original actors to reprise their roles in voice work. Hey., Mark Hamill's a friend of the studio, Carrie Fisher needs work, Harrison Ford MIGHT be hard to get, I'll admit...and, we all know James Earl Jones is the king of voice work...but, who should replace the late Sir Alec Guinness (Who HATED being Obi-Wan, BTW) as Obi-Wan?
OK, as for my request from Bruce...well, I honestly have so many, I can't choose just one
Add Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, and Captain Marvel to the JLU
DC vs. Marvel: The Animated Movie (Unlike Kyle, John would kick the Silver Surfer's butt!)
Tales of the Amalgam Universe: The Animated Series (anyone remember Amalgam?)
PLEASE bring Luthor back to the pseudo-pre-Crisis version...I mean, really Bruce, if you're reading this (b.t. IS Bruce, right?)....what was the point of bringing back mad scientist Luthor if he was just gonna revert back to the businessman again?

2: Wrestling fan again...Wight's huge (If you don't know who he is..the guy is legit 7'2" and billed at 500 lbs....hell, that may not be far from the truth! They were billing the guy as Andre the Giant's son when he first showed up, and he definitely had the build to pull it off), and he's funny enough to deliver Grundy's juvenile wit
3: I just don't think anyone besides D'Abo could do Sapphire justice
4: I'm pretty sure the animated Copperhead is supposed to be Hispanic/Latino, and I just couldn't think of anyone else
5: We never saw the human Cheetah in the animated DCU...she coulda been African-American. Plus, despite the dreadful Catwoman movie, which I feel was more the fault of an unfaithful script, I think she'd have what it takes to bring the tragic Dr. Minerva across
Also, I had to resist adding the non-Canon Superfriends character Samurai, played by Jet Li, just for the sake of ethnic diversity (Altho, in Dean Cain's defense, he IS at least part Asian, I believe)

Thats way way to many big names to make a good movie. Remember big names usually = big egos. That means you have to split the screen time up way to much for each of them and water down the film. I'd replace Carey with Hamil for the Joker, with proper makeup I think that he could be a decent physical match and to me his voice work for the joker is dead on. I would stay far away from Berry as well and just go with some actress that can look good in the outfit and give the character minimal lines.
As for Hawkgirl, I'm a major and I mean major fan of the character and I wouldn't want any one touching that character that didn't have a background in acting. Certainly not some wrestling "diva" After talking it over with my girlfriend (who is very much like Hawkgirl and could play the part to the letter just by being herself) we both came up with the same person for the role Angelina Jolie.
As for Batman and Superman I'd want the pair that are playing them now to be in the movie just so don't have five different varieties of the same character. Welling for Supes and Bale for Batman and I would sign both to contracts that stated that they'd do JL with smaller less vital roles along with the parts in the Superman and Batman movies. Since both already have their own franchises you don't want to use up time that would be better served developing the others. Which is one of the reasons the later batman movies failed. While Batman still did the majority of the work instead of developing the plot you spent time developing five characters that really didn't have any major role in the film.
I would also stick with the animated league, that league was chosen for a reason, I see no major reason to walk away from that since it really hasn't failed. Plus I could see the same factors being used for the live action version.

I'd ask for a JLU action/comedy spin-off called "The Inferior Five" but instead of using the actual members of the Inferior Five comic, I'd have some of the less serious heroes of the JLU be the members. My team would consist of:
Booster Gold (with Skeets)
B'wana Beast
Fire
Ice
Vibe
Don't get me wrong: this isn't meant to be insulting to the characters. I actually really dig all of them and their appearances on the JLU (well, maybe not Vibe), it'd just be a way to take the fun from TGSNT and expand it into a regular, on-going show. In fact, the heroes wouldn't even call themselves the Inferior Five...it would be given to them by the press after they botched something in the first episode and they spend the rest of the series trying to live it down.

Wow, good question.
Well, first I'd want a nice JL DTV that brings in an alternate reality (or Elseworld) similar to "A Better World" or even "Legends". I'd like to see our JLU interact with a DCAU version of Barry Allen-Flash and Hal Jordan-Green Lantern (because we do know Hal exists in the DCAU. In fact, it'd be cool to see stuff involving him and Star Sapphire). Maybe actually have their team called "The Justice League of America" and consist of them, Martain Manhunter (with that name), Aquaman, and Black Canary.
My other choice would be to see an episode (JLU, TNBA, whatever) where we see what Nightwing and Batgirl were doing during "Knighttime". It'd be cool to see their confrontation with Ra's Al Ghul (and whose brilliant idea it was to leave Tim alone).

Including the villainesses?
What kind of fun would the show be without them?
Ofcourse, Poison Ivey and Catwoman would have to revert to their BTAS forms...

:D I'd wear a sexy Supergirl outfit first. Then sit in his lap and say,"Mr Timm will you please make a Justice League Ep that introduces my fanmade DC character into the JL. THe Flash falls in love with her, and he becomes her partner as they battle the bad gus with the JL
Poor Timm, he doesn't even know me but how cute to be 4'11,petite ,slim and weara cute lil Supergirl outfit then tell him what I want.
just call me suducaSweet. Flash would love to see you in that outfit.;)
If I saved Bruce's life,I'd request my own animated TV show! The live action bombed and was cancelled. So I request my own show. If Bats and Sups can have it,why can't I?
