In a recent post on this site's popular Justice League Message Board, artist John Delaney posted about the adjustments he had to made when being asked to draw for Justice League Adventures.

"It's tough trying to get the feel of the cartoon without seeing the show so I just tried to draw the characters as on model as I could and give the paneling a real wide screen look in accordance to what Bruce Timm has been talking about in interviews", said Delaney.
"I remember when I was working on [Adventures In The DC Universe] and the new Batman and Robin designs were given to us to incorporate into our Nightwing story. The problem was there was no complete turnaround of Nightwing yet so I didn't know what he would look like from behind, so I had to just bluff his costume design and in the one panel where we see Nightwing from behind I drew the same blue bird design he has in front continuing on the back. When I finally got to see an episode of the show I saw how it was different in back but not before several fans pointed out my error to me. That's why I was so glad when I started on this book all the characters had full turnaround designs."
