For those of you who loved the X-men Evolution TV series, you'll love Xpansion. Xpansion is an evolution RPG that takes place 3 years after the series. Currently there are 2 main elements to the story.
1. Xavier has announced to his students that he secretly has been training students at a base in Japan, and due to recent events (described soon after), these Japanese students are being sent over to help the US students. Conflicts arise as immediate dislike forms between the two parties.
2. The military sect formerly known as the Friends of Humanity, which was thought to have been shutdown, has been reformed as an illegal organization known as 'the Xterminators'. The xterminators are even more powerful than the friends of humanity ever were, with all sorts of new gadgets and toys, and brilliant mastermind running the operations. The Xterminators are also secretly affiliated with the corporation making the Power8 drink.
Other plots will obviously unfold and split from these 2 basic initial plots, but expect to have tons of fun in this brand spankin new x-men RPG.
The RPG board itself is fairly simple (im not amazing with these things), but some people say simplicity is a virtue ; but besides the simplicity of the board, i would hope that the story and actual RPing becomes very deep and advanced. I'm a very lenient guy with few rules, but I do enforce my rules; and I am (I would like to believe) an at least decent RPer who expects quality, so expect to have fun if you join the RPG.
