The Iwao Takamoto designs. That's what made the "Where Are You?" episodes such a visual treat. The lanky, angular designs and the grungy backgrounds. I think SD:WAY is the darkest-looking show to air before Timm and Radomski took to painting the BTAS backgrounds on black.

All I can say is: it truly is sad when a stupid looking movie manages to look even stupider. Leave this type of poster to the Superheros...

...what's next? A MATRIX fight scene? Magic brewing everywhere? OH! I KNOW! Some sappy in-joke where we see the gang in thier old animation! Possibly in a chase scene to save time and money! :rolleyes:

I would not at all be surprised if they put a Matrix style action scene in this movie. The thing is, I won't ever know, CUZ I WILL NEVER WATCH IT!

I don't have very high expectations for this movie. Scooby just looks plain weird, not to mention Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr. are in it. *cringe*

I didn't even bother going to see Josie and the Pussycats.

I dunno, maybe it's the angle at which she's standing but she looks frighteningly thin.

Why does Daphne's head look like it's 10 times bigger than her body? ;) I don't know, it looks kinda funky. Though knowing me I may end up seeing it anyway out of curiousity, if not in the theaters, then on video. Here's what I think: I think they might throw in a beginning cartoon sequence where they're their regular cartoon selves, and then they'll go live action or something. Just a thought. But Shaggy looks really scary to me. So does Scooby.

there's really only two things that are making me anticipate this movie: linda and cardellini...it's really too bad though, that she has to take a role where her looks are so downplayed.
