spider-man movie edits?

does anyone know what the deal is on the World Trade Center scene that we got to see in the trailer? that is the one of the best scenes ever! I for one would NOT take it out... it's a great reminder that Spider-man IS New York...:D

That scene, which was supposedly going to be in the feature, is going to be cut. Rumor has it that it will appear as an extra on the DVD.

I heard that the scene featured in the original trailer was never in the movie itself--it was just a teaser.

That's what I heard, too. Then www.spidermanhype.com reported that the teaser trailer was an abbreviated version of the sequence. I hope it finds it's way to DVD. I got the trailer on tape...but I want the real thing...
