[Beyond Batman]

I figured since we're all collectors here, most of us at least, I thought I'd start a thread dedicated to a new toy, collectble, or video you've just found or bought. Something new you added to your Batman, Superman, or B.Beyond collection.

Post what cool things you've bought on eBay, your comic shop, toy store, or even garage sales.

I'll start with what I just bought last week.

I found three "Legned of The Dark Knight" figures at a local comic shop for $6.99 each. I bought Bane, Manbat, and the Scarecrow. Manbat is the coolest one, he has a wingspan of 15". Just today, our Toys R Us got those Lois Lane 4 packs. I picked one up leaving only three more left on the shelf.

Just got the non-limited edition maquette of batman beyond the WB studio store as a present from my girlfriend!!

Yesterday I bought the STAS (Euro-only) Superman VS Darkseid 2 Pack for $25 (buy it now) I'm lucky to be the first one who saw it normally it sells for $60.

my last batman thing..well, I got a couple batman comics the other day..:)

I got the LOTDK Man-Bat when it first came out..it's probably my favorite batman figure to date...

the only thing I'm looking for is the LOTDK Batgirl figure...very hard to find (as is all the stuff I want..)

A couple of weeks ago I nabbed the pride and joy of my collection: The Flash of Two World's statue. It's my favorite comic cover ever, and I've been wanting it for a long time.

Also, I got the Superman/Lois Lane two-pack from DC Direct. Awesome.

The 9-inch Batman/Bruce Wayne figure is the last really cool thing I got. I only saw them at Target the time I picked it up and then they were gone. I kinda wanted to get one to put back, but oh well.... So, the Lois Lane figure's are out now? I'm gonna have to go hunt that four pack down...

This weekend I'm getting the Harley Quinn Snowglobe. That'll be my latest addition to the collection.

The last DC Direct thing I bought was the Flash 2 pack which is so awesome! And the Gordon 4-pack at toys r us in summer. Plus I gotta recomend the JLA PVC set, it's really cool, I got it at the flea market the week it came out for $30 cuz it was my birthday, but if you have the dough, you guys should definetly check it out.

I just got the Harley Snowglobe on eBay for $60. My comic shop sells it for 95.99 so I think I got a really cool deal. If you guys haven't seen it yet, it plays the "We're in the Money" tune with flying dollar bills.

Makes me feel stupid because I'm buying it from a comic shop, for the hundred bucks. Never thought to get it off eBay. Usually, tho, I've seen a cheap statue or snowglobe on eBay with a HUGE shipping payment, so it all evens out. Usually. $60 is just a great deal. Congrats.

I have never heard of any of these. In fact, I don't believe DC Direct released a Batgirl, Harley, or Ivy figure.

Although, you could be referring to the ministatues, making me sound like a total idiot...

Bloodbone, you haven't seen those DC Direct Statues of Harley, Batgirl, and Ivy? I think your local comic shop should have at least one of those ststues. They're designs from Bruce Timm's animated work. They're not mini statues, they're a good medium size. If you're still not sure of what I'm talking about, check the DC website. I think they have Ivy (the newest edition) on the site. As for the other statues, check eBay or ask your local comic dealer. They're worth it. I have the Batgirl one. I'm still working on getting the Harley and Ivy one myself.

BTW, I picked up that Justice League Adventures #1. I'm gonna read it soon. It has awesome cover art by Timm and Alex Ross.

Are any of you guys gonna get that Dark Knight Strikes Back statue, coming out next month?

I might try to get it after Christmas, but I doubt it. I'd like the Swamp Thing one or the Optimus Prime minibust before that.

I wanted to say that I got my Harley snowglobe last night, took it out of the box (it looks great!) and, well, I turned the crank, and two notes came out. No more. Yeah, it's broken. Yes I can take it back, but when you spend a hundred bucks on something you expect it to work, and you don't expect to have to take it back, especially when it's an item that's 1 of 2300. I guess now it's only 1 of 2299.

Have any of you guys picked up that Batcave set they're selling at Toys R Us? To those of you who have the original version (of the Batcave/Wayne Manor) from the 92 series, is there any difference from that one and the new one, other than it's color?
