I know, I know, usually when I come up here, I give you the skinny on what's going on in the world of Toonami. Well, as many people don't know, I'm a HUGE fan of the Muppets and think that Jim Henson was a genius. And deep down inside, a know a lot of toon fans are also Muppet fans too.
You'd think that a festival to honor the magic of the Muppets would have taken place years ago.
The inaugural edition of MuppetFest takes place the weekend of December 8 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, California. The two-day event, originally scheduled for the weekend of September 15, will bring the fans close to the characters, the puppeteers that bring them to life, and the secrets behind the famous Creature Shop.
