I discovered the show a few weeks back on BBC America. It is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. "The Young Ones" is about four students living in a flat, but never mind; so much crazy stuff happens on this show. Trust me, it's much better experienced than described.

Any opinions?

I remember watching that show back when it aired on Comedy Central. It was some crazy stuff. A much better use of Rik Mayall's talents than Drop Dead Fred.

An excellent show, if you get a chance look out for the episode called Boring, it has some funny and weird stuff in it. I really like the musical acts by Madness, and the charicters are in a league of their own.

Ah the show that gave us Rik, Ade, Nigel, Neil, and Ben Elton. Classic. The one from two weeks ago where the gang is on University Challenge* was classic.

Young Ones was awesome. Rik Mayall is the best part of that show, IMO, but everyone is hilarious. It's a shame that there were so few episodes. (and they are so expensive :()

I remember watching it a time or two back when it was on MTV in the '80, but couldn't get into it back then.

That's one show I saw years ago and all I remember thinking is "that's disgusting!" (and I thought Dave Lister was a slob! :p). It's a show I'd like to see again sometime. Now that I'm older and more into British sitcoms, I might like it more than I did back then.
