See, this article further proves my theory: the WB network is dumb.
Thanks, randrace, and welcome aboard!

Theory? That's a proven fact, man! Kudos to Bruce Timm for making sure it'd get done right!

Can you imagine it if Timm wasn't helming this? That little line (Batman training younger heroes) just put a cold shiver down my spine...

Well, I think Timm put a lot on the line to get this project going, especially considering he didn't want to do it in the first place. Also, he could have used some other heroes who'd have pulled in better ratings (Kyle Rayner), but it seems every choice he made was in the interest of putting together a better show.

Again, kudos to Bruce Timm for seeing that this gets done right. Batman leading around a bunch of little kids...I'm a die-hard DCU animated fan, but I don't know if I could watch that.
Batman: "All right, kids, time for another action-packed adventure featuring characters no one's heard of."
Kids: "YAY! Dibs on the Batmobile!"

The WB is under the impression that everything on there network has to have a bunch of lil kids in it. Timm done the right thing in moving the Jusice League to the cartoon network. If they ever want a teenage Justice League type team, Young Justice would be perfect for WB . We would'nt even have to make any real character sacrafices with that.

Apparently Timm isn't on good grounds with WB becuase of some of the decisions he's made. I think YOUNG JUSTICE could work there. Ya got Superboy, Robin, Arrowwette, and a bunch of other teens being led by Red Tornado - that's basically what WB wanted. I wouldn't be suprised if WB stepped forth with that or Legion.

A Legion series would be good and you could dovetail it out of their appearence in Superman TAS.
and if I were doing YJ, working within the TAS context I'd have it be Robin Tim Drake as seen in TNBTAS and Supergirl Kara In-Ze (no angelic shapeshifting firewinged crapola here)
No clones. *no* clones. No clones with fades, earrings, or jackets.
I'd do Impusle only lose the 30h century baggage and making him just a really hyper kid who idolizes the Flash and video games. Now sure how he'd get his powers though.
I'd actually keep the team just those three with Martian Manhunter in the mentor role instead of Tornado.

I'd rathar keep Martian over at JL. I can't see him meshing well with all the "hip" teen heroes and such. Red Tornado does it good in YJ, so I'm sure it could be easily translated.

I agree with Dick dont move the martian. Red tornado is a excellent character for the job of mentor.
