I wanted Rhyjiri to win. Hopefully they'll use Rhyno a little bit more.

Ah........Wha.................How........

I dont believe this.

At least Orton won the ******* belt on his own, Triple HHH still needs Flair and that jacked up piece of sh-t Batista to help his ass. Hey if you want to put the belt in safe hands cause suddenly you think Orton's not over enough fine but how about puting back in Benoit's hands or someone else that isnt f-king the boss's daughter

Good for Jericho and HBK but now not even that can squelch my anger

Benoit and Orton were transitional champions. Triple H was always meant to get the belt back whenever he saw it fit for him to do so. When the buyrates sink, then WWE will have to try something new. Until then, do yourself a favor and just don't pay for the same thing you saw two years ago.

Bah. There were bright sopts, but overall this was not a very enjoyable PPV.

Match by match:
-The minute Flair tapped out I knew Orton was dropping the belt. They can't have a PPV where every member of Evolution loses, the world might end  I love how Benoit goes from headlining Summerslam as World Champion to curtain jerking the next month. Overall a good match.

-Nice Women's match. Of course being champion of a division that consists of 4 people isn't much to be proud of, but whatever. Trish and Victoria always work good together, and this one didn't kill the crowd much. At least until....

-Blah. Tomko and Heidensuck should be put into a match with each other so they can both be injured. I feel really sorry that Steven Richards, who proved in ECW that he can be good if used properly, is reduced to getting beaten in a pair of panties. The crowd had the right reaction to this one, complete disgust. And having Tomko scream homophobic slurs was just tasteless. Nice one, WWE!

-I had higher hopes for the ladder match. It was still really good, but could have been better. Guess the slower pace was to protect both men as much as possible. I really thought Jericho killed himself when he landed on that ladder, that was scary. But bonus points for taking Jeff Jarrett out of the record books by becoming 7 time Intercontinental champ!

-I know there are tons of Shawn Michaels fans, but I'm not one of them at all. Sorry, but him praying on the ramp cracks me up everytime. It just reminds me of Trashcan Man from The Stand to hear him say "My life for you!" Match was okay I guess, but I'm so tired of Kane's Wrestlecrap storylines.
-WWE has made me not care at all about the tag division. Skow, plodding match that added nothing to the card. Next.

-Blech. I knew Triple H would have the belt before Blade 3 came out, but come on. Overbooked disgusting ending that I saw coming but couldn't turn away from, like a freakishly beautiful train wreck. Just a horrible way to end the show.

I voted 3 stars. This could have been a better, but it also could have been a lot worse.

Please... let's not start with the Triple H hate again. First off, Benoit was no "transitional champion." If anyone is working as a transitional champion in that company, it's JBL. Secondly, I don't think Orton was even meant to hold on to the title for more than a month or two. His title reign seemed to be more than a test run than anything else. Besides, giving bet back to Triple H is a great idea in the long run. Why? People HATE the guy. I say they keep the belt on him until at least Survivor Series and do nothing but build up the "next big threat," whether it be Orton or Benoit again or Shelton Benjamin or whatever. If they build it up properly and Triple H loses clean (which he has been doing a lot lately), anyone could be the next big star... even a guy like the A-Train.

I don't have a hatred for Triple H. In the last two years he has always been the primary focus of Raw, simple as that. If he isn't in the world title picture, he's fighting HBK in the main event. He's headlined EVERY Raw PPV, and most of the big PPVs. The ratings and buyrates have dipped in the last two years as a result.

And JBL is in it for the long haul, because he is being championed by Vince McMahon himself. Eddie was the transitional champion (not to mention he and Angle are hurt). Sorry.

Benoit was hardly a transitional champion. He had the belt from WrestleMania to SummerSlam, a solid five months. That's an eternity by today's standards.

It's sad to see HHH with the belt once again. I think the guy is a great wrestler, but he doesn't need to be in the title picture every second. This is the reason that guys like Jericho or RVD don't get a chance to be the champ. I thought we were seeing a new thing with Orton as the champ, but just as quickly HHH is back on top.

Also it's safe to say, Jericho is pretty much the new Jeff Jarrett. He's held the IC title so many times, and the way things are going, I don't see Y2J getting a world title shot again for a long time. I hope he enjoyed his time as Undisputed champion, it might be awhile till he gets another chance, if he does.

I really don't understand why La Resistance got to keep their titles, they're a good team, but I think Rhyno/Tajiri are just as good and just need their own shot at being on top. Also La Resistance just doesn't give me the same taste as before, perhaps if they were chasing the belts, they'd be more intriguing.

I really don't understand why there is a need for Tyson Tomko. Then again, I don't know how they treat Steven Richards like that.. At least Benoit and Regal won. Hopefully RAW is heading for an upswing soon, because I just hate some of the moves that have been made lately.

I can't believe it. Why is HHH champ again? Orton only had one month in his first regin, compared to 8 months for Shawn Michaels and 5 for Chris Benoit (but didn't the Game's first title reign get stopped by Mr. McMahon)? Its not a hate, but a displeasure. At least HBK won last night as the red face he does best. Later.

Im going to have to agree with Andy, but they should have kept the belt on Orton for at least another month, but again Triple H draws huge heat from the fans as a heel and with Taboo Tuesday comming right around the corner im sure there will be some kind of big gimmick match like a Hell in the Cell with Orton and Triple H for the title. I would hope for a match like that to happen at Survivor Series though just because I will be there. :D

Well, I don't usually chip into these WWE threads much, as I'm really only a casual fan, but I have to say I WAS kinda suprised to see Orton lose the belt so soon - I thought the WWE was investing in the future?

Speaking of the future, I HAVE to say, I can sleep soundly in my bed now knowing the awesome Tyson Tomko is on board. What about that match? Didn't it just have EVERYTHING?

I mean, these Tomko is the BOMB, isn't he? He's superlative on the mic, his submission moves are up there with the best, and his mat skills are easily on par with Benoit's...

You wanna talk about transitional champions - then look no further than HHH, 'cos Tomko's gonna get it soon, and he's gonna have it for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time...

I can't wait til they DO get Mike Tyson in to partner him a Tag team - that's gonna be just AMAZING...
