Does anybody know WHO did the voice of this short-lived Paramount/Noveltoon character? Blackie, to me, sounds like he's voiced by Arnold Stang, the voice of Herman (of Herman and Katnip) and Top Cat.

If it sounds like Arnold Stang, it probably was. He was among the very small group who voiced most of the characters in Famous Studios cartoons for many years, the others being Jack Mercer, Mae Questel, Jackson Beck, and Sid Raymond.

Yes, Randy and I were right. I got an e-mail from Jerry B. saying that Blackie was voiced by Stang.
