Here's the first 4 pages from Justice League Adventures. There's a review of the issue at the news board. Comments?

Well?
Art looks sweet, but I don't like the superfriend-ish "what is it?" "what can we do?" approach. I know thats the JL but it sounds so jumpy and stuff, JL should be more mature, more calm like James Bond- like Superman or Wonder Woman are the diplomats, ask whats up, and then the JL can decide what to do. These guys don't freak out at an alarm like that in the mainstream books.

Art looks good. Guess I'll have to wait til Wednesday before I make judgments on the story. The "alarm sound" art in the background is kinda annoying though.

I agree with Nass on the SUPERFRIEND-esque opening dialogue, but I like the art. It's almost resembles perfectly the art and screengrabs I've seen. I can't wait to see the show's premiere.

Art's awesome, always good stuff from Ku. As for the story we'll have to see. I'm looking forward to it, though, without a doubt...

Hey! notice above; page 2 third panel? Batman and MM have their backs to the intruder.
What are they be up to, I wonder? Plotting? Detecting? Brooding?
And a small edit I couldn't resist, I love shots like this.

I'm glad to see Ku's art is looking up. It's still not so dynamic but the designs are well rendered overall and the storytelling seems to be rather clear.
The storyline itself doesn't look so promising though... did Ty come up with a disappointing story? Nah it can't be, he's the Guy! :)

I think the art looks good, but the coloring needs to be a bit darker. It just seems so bright. Lee Loughridge should be on this series. The coliring just looks....well...not so good. As for the story - well, I'll need to see more than 3 or 4 pages...

It seems like we're getting more great art from Ku, from the looks of it, but I was expecting a little more from the first few pages storywise. I dunno, I think I was expecting some sort of huge opening (being that it is the very first issue). I hope that the story doesn't suck, but I suppose it's too soon to really tell anything. I guess we'll have to wait ti'll tomorrow to see.
See ya!

Maybe the whole opening is a set up for something bigger, hopefully. My main gripe is just the coloring. I'll have to wait until Thursday to pick up this issue, but I can't wait to see it. More art from Ku is always a good thing.

I like the edit ya made, Lucho. A very, very cool scene! A nice visial image. Now if only the coloring was better...

I just read it and you can read my post in the JL Adventures # 1 thread, but don't expect too much out of the story.
