Fresh Question #2: Villain Designs

You know the villains, now visualize the designs in the new JL show! We're hoping for some more character designs, but until then, use the power of an FQ to describe your own.

What do you want your favorite JL villain to be designed like in the show?? A particular comic or art rendition in mind? Don't forget, this is how he/she is going to look in all the seasons you see em in!

Well, my favorite villian is the joker and I would have him designed in ROTJ style and he pretty much is, so I'm happy!!:D

I'm pleased with Mongul design. He looks just like the comic version.

They did a great job of redesigning Star Sapphire's costume. It's head and shoulders better than the original design.

I don't think I care for the Shade's design, but I'll hold judgement until I see him in action.

I liked the Joker better with the black eyes and no red lips. His teeth were whiter too.

I hope they come up with an interesting design for Amazo when they use him. The bare chested Silver Age design is really stupid!

Say, are they ever going to really post those color model sketches that they showed at the Comic Con?

Two characters I'd love to see make it into the show are of-course Despero and Amazo, I haven't seen designs for either, but I'd guessed they'd make Despero a real powerhouse due to his status. Although I just re-read JLA#1 and he's actually quite a cook! So that's how he evolved on my PC.
For Amazo, I agree with you Karkull, The bare chested design never worked for me either, I'd emphasize the Android aspect more and make him a real powerful robot. And he'd need to add Hawkgirls mace, and Batmans Utility-belt to his arsenal of stolen powers.
And the deranged Professor Ivo would have to really look the part.
So here's what I got, I hope they do better cause Despero looks ridiculous!:p

white make up is cool when there's something else surrounding ur eyes, or nothing, but not a portion like her big eye holes would be

I haven't seen Grodd yet(or if I have,I don't remember),but I see him as looking like the smart gorilla from that one ep of BB,except bigger,with red eyes.

OK I'm back with one more!, What do you think, who doesn't want to see an appearance by Black Manta? Has he been announced for the Aquaman episode? although him being an anti-hero I'm not sure what role Manta would play. Still wouldn't it be great to hear that voice again.
So here's what I'd want to see, Allot like the original, although I'd switch the harpoon fore something a bit more ominous.

My favorite villain was always Catwoman - and I really liked the version in Batman TAS, except she should have been brunette. :) But definitely TAS as to costume, at least imho.

The pics are very good, Lucho. Anyway, for other Bat-villains, I say go with the RotJ Flashback/JL Joker type thing and make the Bat-villains look like combos of past incarnations.

I'm not too keen on the Super-Powers-ish Luthor design. He looks like Lex Luthor, Agent of SHIELD.

The Shade's costume emphasizes his physicality too much; I like the recent Starman rendition more. If Starman shows up at some point...woo...
