...there are three winners! Greg Method, Rhapsodyrabbit and Gossamer each answered every one right! For those who are curious, here are the correct answers:
1. North By Northwest
2. Citizen Kane
3. 2001: A Space Odyssey
4. Blazing Saddles
5. Touch of Evil
6. Sunset Boulevard
7. Empire Strikes Back
8. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
9. The Manchurian Candidate
10. The Producers
11. Dumb and Dumber
12. The Third Man
13. Rear Window
14. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
15. The Godfather
16. Schindler’s List
17. Song of the South
18. My Bunny Lies Over the Sea
19. Animal House
20. The Green Mile
21. Psycho
22. The Graduate
23. Young Frankenstein
24. Jaws
25. All About Eve
26. Monty Python and the Holy Grail (again!)
27. Rain Man
28. Dazed and Confused
29. A Streetcar Named Desire
30. Airplane!
31. Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
32. Groundhog’s Day
33. Seven (or Se7en)
34. She Done Him Wrong
35. The Elephant Man
I tried to mix it up with years and genres, but I realize I was a little heavy in Hitchcock and Welles. Of all the cinematic masterpieces listed here, and I have seen all of these movies, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, oddly enough, is probably my favorite movie ever, which is why I included it twice. I know almost the entire movie by heart, and a friend and I quote it at work to get us through the nights. The two that gave the most people trouble were Rear Window and My Bunny Lies Over the Sea. Thanks to all who played and congratulations to the winners!
