Here's a clip art picture I made on my computer:

This pic is on a server I found called Image Event (http://www.imageevent.com) that hosts (and shows!) ALL kinds of images! And it has an easy to remember URL, unlike WebPhotos.

Thad - thanks for the tip.
Just in case you hadn't noticed - the free accounts there at ImageEvent are trial accounts that last only 60 days - unless you start to pay...

The reason why this WHOLE scene was cut out is ummmm "difficult" to explain here. To phrase it nicely the Hays Office censor came down hard on Tex and MGM for this scene on the grounds that The Wolf marrying Grandma meant ummmm "intimacy" between the two (human and non-human). The idea that 99.9% of people would never have any such idea cross their minds wouldn't sway them though. Tex actually wrote an escape for it all by having The Wolf pull off his head which is revealed to be a mask with a dopey human inside... Avery then simply decided to just go along and cut the entire scene (keep those censors happy). NO footage is known to exist!!!

Annnnnnd this was in keeping with their tradition ten years earlier of (former French poodle) Betty Boop losing her longtime canine boyfriend Bimbo, at the insistence of the new Hays Office. Fleischer's revence was to replace hetero Bimbo with a limp-wristed HUMAN boyfriend for Betty;) ;) ;)

I was censored way back when the cartoon was first made (I've never heard of anyone who's actually seen that version of it). Supposedly Avery originally ended the cartoon with Wolfie and Granny getting married and having little wolf-children. The Hays office didn't like that because it implied a human being was sleeping with an animal. So Avery made the ending that the cartoon now has for general release and supposedly the alternate version with the above scene was only shown to soldiers. I don't know if that alternate version exists, though.

Nice additional info. Mike Barrier in his book has claimed that the scenes in question are not known to exist in any way, shape or form. His knowledge of them was derived purely from resource materials in the collection of a California library. Avery biographer Joe Adamson evidently had no information about it back when he wrote his superb bio of Tex.
