My fav. bit is:
"...And then a hero comes along,with the strenght to carry on,
and then you finally see the truth,that a hero lies in you."

"I Believe I Can Fly" by R. Kelly:

I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
You'll see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly!

Love that song.

I'd have to say a very inspiraitonal song to me, is Believe In myself. It's the theme for Tails, i nthe Sonic Adventures. I know it's a videogame song, but the lyrics can be very moving. The version of it on the 1st Sonic Adventure sounds alot better though.

I dunno if you'd say it's inspirational but all of Lauryn Hill's song uplift me and put me in a good mood. :)

Ditto for most of Alicia Keys' songs. :cool:

It's not precisely intended for it, but I find Nina Simone's 'Mississippi *******' to be a rather good pick-me-up.

(the starred-out word in that song title above and in my signature would, more euphemistically, "goshdarn."

Doctor Hook's 'Freakin' at the Freaker's' ball is enlivening as well.

The third verse of "The World is Yours" - Nas

I'm the young city bandit, hold myself down singlehanded
For murder raps, I kick my thoughts alone, get remanded
Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne
I'm deep by sound alone, caved inside in a thousand miles from home
I need a new n*gga, for this black cloud to follow
Cause while it's over me it's too dark to see tomorrow
Trying to maintain, I flip, fill the clip to the tip
Picturin my peeps, now the income make my heartbeat skip
And I'm amped up, they locked the champ up, even my brain's in handcuffs
Headed for Indiana stabbin women like the Phantom
The crew is lampin big Willie style
Check the chip toothed smile, plus I profile wild
Stash through the flock wools, burnin dollars to light my stove
Walk the blocks wit a bop, checkin Danes plus the games
people play, bust the problems of the world today

Deep song if you understand the lyrics.

"You'll Never Walk Alone", one of the greatest showtoons ever written, in a play, that is not well known, a movie was made it , of a good, not excellent quality...But as inspirational a tune as you will ever hear. Stuart:)

These two songs definitely come to mind when think of inspirational. These songs always make me feel good inside. They get me teary-eyed when I listen to them.

The Dance
(Performed by Garth Brooks)

Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared 'neath the stars above
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end, the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance

Holding you, I held everything
For a moment wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say? you know I might have changed it all

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance

Yes my life, its better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance

You Raise Me Up
(Performed by Josh Groban)

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.
