Well......I'll say this. They are doing a good job playing up the horror movie angle. That pic of Joker is definatley scary......something about that particular shot almost has a BTAS Joke quality about it. Man-Bat definately looks like a monster movie mutation. Who's that goony looking guy down at the bottom though?
I'm just afraid these characters will be nothing but shallow monsters.......

Nice, I saw most of those designs already, and honestly, for the most part, I accept them, be it the freak Penguin, the iceberg-head Freeze, super-huge Bane, or the very out-there Joker.
Just a question though - the last one posted in this specific thread...is that supposed to be Scarface and the Ventriloquist? Looks like a bit of role-reversal, there...

If so......that's just wierd. I mean....Ventriloquist a Thing look look alike? Freaky.......Looks a lot bigger than Batman too.

Almost looks like this Scareface is somekind of giant robot. With it carrying the Ventriloquist around and he is controling the robot from there some how.

Nice pics
Its definately NOT Croc.
Croc looks more like Leatherhead from the new TMNT, but with a shorter snout and bulkier features.

Well, thank you "The Batman" creative team! Thank you very much! You've managed to rip everything that was cool out of Scarface's design, and make him into a another Bane/Killer Croc villains just so you can stuff more "epic fight scenes" into the show. Thank you, ever so much.
Other then that, not a lot to say. Catwoman, I imagine, would look rather nice without her mask. However, with those massive goggles and ears are very off putting.
I'm starting to wonder if the purpose of these "radical new designs" is nothing other then scaring the living bat-a-rang out of their younger viewers. It's sure starting to seem that way.
Martial arts Penguin looks kind of funny too. I guess the no gun rule extends to umbrellas too :p

Yeah at first glance when watching I thought it was croc, but I agree that the guy definately is scarface/ ventriloquist. I bet croc will be green and look like an actual gator, the way Kids WB is going to extremes to personify these villains.

First image I see of Scarface and he looks gigantic...

Am I the only one who thinks that the screen cap of Scarface might just be a dream sequence the Ventriloquist has symbolizing his relationship with Scarface?

No, I thought that as well. It better be a dream sequence.

I think Catwoman looks ok when she doset jhave the goggles over her eyes. (With them she looks like some bug.)
Apart from that, every single villan design really, really sucks.

Apart from that, every single villan design really, really sucks. That seems a little harsh. We've only seen a handful of the villians sofar, and while they are different, most of them aren't all that bad. IMO, most of them are pretty cool. I like the Bane, Catwoman, and Manbat designs. Joker will take some getting used to. I really hope Scarface isn't a giant robot, though.
Also, it would be nice to see a Riddler design soon.

Also, it would be nice to see a Riddler design soon.I remember awhile back that his costume was supposed to be a shapeless sack or something along those lines. That design might have been ditched, though.

With the Riddler I'd like a modern version of the B:TAS suit. Like how the Riddler suit was something that was cool and sleek in the mega '40's that B:TAS took place in I'd like to see Eddie wear something that is considered cool and sleek today.

I'm definitely hoping for some style of suit, even if it's not the traditional green suit and bowler combo. He's gotta look sharp. I'm not a big fan of the spandex, personally, but as long as he's not turned into a freak I'll be happy.

Riddler in a plain green suit, purple tie with a question mark on it (or a lot of them) but with no bowler would be nice. Although, I hope they don't try to horror Riddler up. He's one of the few designs I hold out hope for. How can you screw up something as classic as th... *looks at Joker* nevermind.

I do like the new Mr. Freeze look - he looks more like he's carved out of ice. I'm not expecting the same emotional depth as Michael Ansara's Mr. Freeze, but I do like this new look.
Though I hope he won't yell out, "Freeze in hell, Batman!" (Not that the censors would let him.)

I like Penguin, Man-Bat and Cat Women's designs right now while the others are a bit too out there for my taste.

I can't believe I'm saying this...but I actually kinda like these designs. The show is starting to look more and more like a Teen Titans/B:TAS hybrid, and I'm enjoying the line quality of some of these shots. All the characters are so far away from the typical "human" look of the character designs of the 80s. Of course, this is now Y2K, the time when nothing on tv looks the way it would in real life.
Whatever. At least I'll have some interesting screengrabs to look at in the coming months.

I agree with the others, that had better be a dream sequence illustating the control Scarface has over the Ventriloquist(sp?)
