As you may recall, several months back I posted a question about "King of the Hill" coming to FX Cable. It's true. Starting September 20th, it comes to FX. I just saw the ad during Fear Factor. No time slot was announced as of yet.

Still no word on if this means KOTH will be pulled from syndication?

I'm sure it will. Because Married...With Children airs on a lot of locals too and it airs everyday on FX. Plus also, starting September 20th, Fear Factor will hit local syndicated channels and it's been on FX for a while now..

I have it, but don't really bother much to watch it. But I might start watching it now, especially since this show will be coming to FX, and I don't really watch broadcast TV anymore (except for the local news).
Do you think they'll put reruns of The Simpsons on FX sometime in the Far Flung Future? (Well...I can drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrream, can't I?)

I don't know about that. Hopefully whenever The Simpsons ends they'll have it on cable. I hope

A show starting on cable does not mean it gets pulled from syndication. Lots of shows are simultaneously on cable and in syndication. A show leaves syndication when stations stop buying it. KotH is still doing quite well in syndication, so it should turn up on local stations for a while longer.
It says somewhere that KotH will have two marathons on FX (one on Sept 20, the other on Sept 23), but it doesn't say yet what episodes it'll run. While King of the Hill will never have the cult appeal of (ecch) Family Guy, hopefully the cable run will spark some more interest in it, if FX promotes it right.

Airing it on FX, will not make it a major shows that will come back from the dead and get more episodes, especially on a place like FX. But, I'm happy its finnaly happening.

I know. For example: Boy Meets World is exclusively on ABC Family & Disney. So is Full House on Nick At Nite and ABC Family...
