Heh heh, no responses for last week I suppouse it serves me right for not getting the number right. This week we have a big superhero throw down, maybe it will garner more interests. I apologize in advance for its massive size.
Ragnarock
The collision of knuckle against bone sent shockwaves through the completly evacuated urban sprawl. For the better part of the day, and into the night, Consmicman had been fighting against his arch foe Dynamo. They were both run rugged from the relentless combat, the villan's last blow had sent Cosmicman head first into a brick and steel skyscraper. The superhero's eyes were swollen so tight that he could barely see Dynamo as he slowly advanced. He struggled to his feet, and then into the air, it was time to counter attack. Tapping into every savage instinct that his home planet's ideals had taught him to supress, he flung himself at his opponent. His body was charged with the raging Z energy that was the source of his powers. He connected with a force filled two handed punch that knocked the villan over and drove the asphalt of the road into his back. Cosmicman now looked down at his advesary with his hands at his neck. Dynamo felt his foe's breath close to his face. With a monsturus screech he opened his eyes and glared fiercly. Suddenly, Cosmicman heard a crackling, electric, noise in the air. Though his eardrums were badly damaged he easily recognized the sound, he had heard it many times before. He frantically focused the remnants of his cosmic Z energy into a protective barrier. A fraction of a second later Dynamo's eyes projected two coloums of solid, high voltage, electricity at the hero. The electricity collided fercoiously with the heros energy shield forcefully hurtling them both to opposite sides of the city block. Now clinging to the last pieces of their consciousness the two combatants gingerly arose to their feet. Cosmicman cast a long look at a glowing star in the western sky, around that star a planet was revolving. This was the planet he had called home before Earth. It was a utopian world that knew neither hunger or the horror of war. A world who's greatest rule was the sanctity of all life. He said a prayer in his native tounge, he was asking for forgivness from his people. During these last few hours he had felt the teachings of his childhood snap. The restraning super ego that had checked his powers for so long had shattered leaving only the most primal instincts of the id to aggressivly flood every part of his body. And he felt his heart pumping, each vein expanding and contracting. Each one of his super senses had been brought to a new level of acuteness. They had both become more and more skilled in the use of their powers over the years. Dynamo's once meger powers now threatned to kill untold millions all over Earth. Cosmicman loved his adopted planet, it had embraced him, and shown him many of the greatest joys he had ever experianced. In that moment of reflection he suddenly realized that this would be their final battle. Yes, he would have to break his greatest taboo to save his beloved foster home. If he was to rescue humanity both his foe and his cardnal rule would have to be casualties. Yet he knew that he probably wouldn't have time to lament, in all likelyhood the two of them would destroy one another.
