Check this out, somebody's paying more than $20 for a loose Lois figure! LOL you can get the entire boxed 4 Pack for $20 and there are plenty of them...Maybe I should take my Gordon figure out of his package and start selling it for $35, I'm sure somebody will be dumb enough and bid on it. But hey, that's what makes eBay fun!

UPDATE: current bid price: $38

I remember when I saw a Harley figure got for $180! It was mint condition or whatever, but I can't believe someone would spend almost $200 on an action figure!

$200 is nothing..Here is a little story...

Once upon a time, there was a figure called R2-D2 with Holographic Leia.

It was only 1 per case of figures.

He was so "rare" that when people put them on ebay, they would reach $100-$200 in no time.

But, there was once a R2-D2 w/ holographic leia that went for $500.

4-5 months later, R2-D2 and crew showed up at Toys "R" Us for $1.97each.

Morale of the story: Wait and you'll get it eventually.

Some people are just impatient and pay too much for stuff like that.

and no, I wasn't the one who paid $500 for the R2-D2..I was one of the ones who paid $1.97 for em'.. ;)

good idea, I wanted to throw away some clothes because they were just out of style but then I decided to put them on ebay and I sold them for more than I bought them.

*lol* usually you can get a mint in mint package Harley for less than $8.00

The Penguin and Darkseid are pretty hard find but I will wait for the right moment and then I will attack ;)

You can never tell what people'll buy until you put it up on ebay! lol, I've got loads of those old beanie babies that my grandma gave me which would probably sell real fast, not to mention some bat figures I have. Somewhere, there is someone out there that has been searching for something you have and would pay major money to get it, all the more fun for me!

Here's a horror story...

It's about a guy that spotted an original Kenner Yoda in it's packaging at a garage sale and scored it for 25 cents. Then said guy turned around and gave it to his best friend, an avid Star Wars collector, for his birthday. Two days later, said guy checked in Toyfare and discovered that said figure was worth over 300 dollars...It was ok though, because for my birthday he somehow got me an autographed Omar Vizquel painting...

Hah, you just need to be patient and when you find something, attack!

That's what I did.

Last night I saw the Superman/Darkseid two pack to sell for more than $70.
Today when I checked on new STAS items I saw it for $25 (buy it now)...and guess what did :p

How long has the Lois Lane 4-pack been out? I've been checking stores in my area pretty regularly.

Why don't you buy it @ amazon? I think you don't even have to pay for shipping.

Because I want to pick out the one I buy myself. I'd hate to pay twenty dollars (or more) for one that was painted poorly.

I bought mine today--there were at least ten of them on the shelf. To give you all an idea of how obsessive I am, I spent twenty minutes trying to pick the Lois that looked the least like a monkey. Then I get her home and find out she can't stand up right!

Right now she's "drunk Lois"--I have her propped up by my Superman figure.
