Well, I always wondered why he was so skinny. I'll tell you why he wont ever give up on the bird though. That bird is freakin huge! I mean really! Road runners and coyotes are native in my area, and a road runner, if you ignored the tail feathers, is about a foot long.... ...a coyote, is as big as say, a full grown sheltie. I always confuse em as dogs, since when I was littler, watching these cartoons, I assumed they were the size of wolves. But even for that size, for a bird to be of equal size to him, means thanksgiving dinner! Same thing goes for elmer fudd. If a rabbit or a duck were the same size as you, hell yeah!

Coyotes dont eat road runners. Well, Wild E might, since that seems to be the only animal out there in the desert... ...but none of his cousins eat road runners. They'd be after Sylvester.

Coyotes are a lot smarter than Cuck Jones let us believe, and I put this thread up, of course, as a bad joke., to try to have some fun...Seriously, recently, within the last few months, a coyote was walking around the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, he looked like so many stray dogs...unfortunately when someone, realized that it wasn't, they gave him a complete vet exam, to release in the wild,,he was very sick. The fact that he managed to live in the city for no one knows how long, is not so unusual..I think they are basically night annimals... A couple of years ago, they caught one in the center of downtown Chicago, wedged under a taxi..He was captured, healthy, and released in a forest preserve...Maybe Wiley developed a taste for Road Runners young, and is just plain obsessed about catching it,,,Occasionally, we all get obsessed about some project, that is why he may be the funniest character ever put on film..He will never stop trying, and we are so lucky, that two greats working together, Jones and Maltese came along, and did 25 or so of the best cartoons ever...Anyone, in any country feels for poor old Wiley, my personal all time fav...:D Stuart ps. Sylevester fans beware, maybe someone will wise up... thats all for me folks...
