Like more directors comments and stuff, like about the edits and stuff? Or maybe bonus footage of scenes that where left on the cutting room floor?

I'd want to see the look on Timm's face when the WB execs. told him they needed to re-edit the films' violent content. I wonder how he initailly reacted to that? Pre-production and storyboard production, I'd like to see that footage too. Maybe a commentary done by Friedle, Conroy, and Hamill.

It's too early to know if there will be any extras, but within the next couple of months expects information on it to start popping up. I wouldn't be suprised if we at least got some goodies...

Warner often puts good extras on their DVDs. I think they will put something on this new disc.

I'm guessing they may just copy the current DVD, menu wise and everything. That wouldn't suprise me in the least.

Then there would be absolutely no reason for me to hang on to my edited DVD if they do that.

I'm definitely holding onto my edited copy. I know it sounds weird. But someday I wanna show the next generation of comic fans (those who weren't around for all this) the difference between the two, tell 'em the story around a campfire or something. Maybe I'm crazy, I dunno.

I plan to keep both versions as well. I doubt WB will copy the first DVD, but I like having both versions. In all honesty, the unedited version is something I wouldn't show my 3 year old nephew. The edited - perhaps. When he get solder I can give him the real version so he can make his own decision. I'm keeping both editions.

LOL sorry if that was unclear, I have no intention to expose young kids to ROTJ unedited (although I do know young kids who could handle it without a problem). Heck, there's a good portion of kids who I wouldn't show ROTJ edited to.

I could see it now. Scary Tales of the Warner Brothers Executives! I am sure we all could think of WB Exec horror stories to tell around a campfire!

LOL, dont stab at them too much or they wont give us our Batman stuff on DVD!
I personally would show any kid at any age the edited/unedited ROTJ. Ive never had a problem with that kind of thing. Maybe its b/c I've been watching horror movies since I was 5.
whatever ppl, everyone make their own decision

Good extras? Have you seen the Batman DVD's; NOTHING! Not even a trailer. Mask of the Phantasm DVD also has really nothing and only one of the Superman DVD's has extras.

That was an early DVD so I can forgive them for it. The early release DVDs were essentially bare bones. The news ones better has stuf fon 'im...
