The question would come up if they made new ones, after all...

Yes. Lola Bunny was a Looney Tune

If I made a Bugs Bunny cartoon, I'd use Daisy Bunny from Hare Splitter.

I voted for NO. Besides, I can't stand Space Jam.

Its academic. Lola never appeared in any LT/MM's, therefore she is not one of the Looney Toon characters (Space Jam ISN'T a Looney Toon, right?)

However, in todays politically correct climate, Lola would be the PERFECT toon.
The executives who run Warners animation would love her, the feminists would love her, little kids would love her. She's perfect for TV and, of course, feature animation.

And she'd be about as funny as drywall...

To some people, a character isn't a Looney Tune unless they appeared in a Looney Tune or Merrie Melodie, even if WB says differently. It's just a matter of personal opinion.

She isn't a Looney Toon, technically--she's a modern Warners creation, along with Slappy Squirrel, Dot Warner, or Timber Wolf. I have nothing against her, though, and if she and Timber appeared in a series of TV shorts along with classic shorts or cassic characters in modern shorts, I'd find that interesting. But you'd have to find another person who could score them in the vein of Stalling, now that Richard Stone is gone.... :(

Then again, in the utopian world we all want(?), Lola would instead be placed in the hands of a writing team and voice actress capable of making her the true wisearse match for any & all classic LT characters ... and All of the Above plus ourselves would go wild with appreciation!

The networking starts now, I'll bet ...

Yes, Mr. Geezil, I'm with you -I'd love to see it, but you know as well as I that Warners doesn't have the cojones to go P.C. -less in a new series of LT/MM's.

But I will keep dreaming of that Utopia.....

P.S. Who do you think could do Lola right, voice-wise?
