View Full Version : I'm Sorry, But...
I have to vent - As I'm sure most around here know, the official AS forums are a den of sin...
I once tried to discuss an issue with someone there about how not all anime had to be action in order to be good. I brought up Conan and Bebop (while they contain action, it's mainly story and character development focused), and all of the sudden he started ranting and raving about me trying to "pick a fight" and how n00bs should leave the forum and about how much everything he didn't like sucked. So I respond, he files a complaint, the thread is erased, and I think I was banned.
Thank you all (even those I disagree with! ;)) for not being such egotards! :D
Oh, and the AS forums seem to be nothing but spam anyways. There's no time to write a well thought-out post because by the time you finish it, there have been (literally!) 25+ one-line replies since you started typing (and I type fast). That and 3/4 of all posts sound like they were made by those under the age of 15 (nothing against intelligent and coherent 15- members here ;)).

posting on the AS boards is like being on a reality show...everyone wants to do it but no one in their right mind would want to go in public, make an arse of themselves and get ridiculed
The alure of officials from WS and other production companies overwhelmed me, I was sucked into the pit of evil. :(

That should be on an AS card.

The official Adult Swim Forums are very hectic. I don't post there often, but when I do, my questions are sometimes ignored. I've always thought of this place as my AS home. The talkback discussions, ease of finding the schedule, and the overall atmosphere here makes Toon Zone's AS forum much better.

Eh... the AS Forum isn't too bad. Sure, they've received an overwhelming amount of n00bs asking where new episodes of Case Closed went to... but I have a couple "friends" over there.

Welcome to the internet! A disgusting hellhole of incredibly opinionated otaku loser ******* forum posters*. Enjoy your stay.
*Such as myself. HA I BEAT YOU BASTARDS TO IT.
What's his username? Want me to file a complaint and try to get him banned?Nah. I don't even remember it now, and though I'm sure I could hunt it down I really don't care that much. I don't intend to go back there anyways, this place is so much better.
Let those with low IQ have their fun together, I say. ;)

While the adulation is much appreciated, do we really need an entire thread about bashing the adultswim.com message board?
The answer is no.
