Hopefully, he will be in the sequel!

You could see him in the background of the teaser trailer, and there's been talk about him being in the sequel. But there's been no talk of him being in the first one. It is very likely that they'll make a sequel IMO.

Doc Ock won't be in the first Spider-Man movie, but they are considering him as a villian for the 2nd movie, which is already on the fast track for production. Green Goblin will be the resident baddie.

Yeah, in the original script, Octy was in it. But, he was more of a second-rate villian with a bad aim on Osborn. Ultimately he seemed to just distract from the actual movie, & he was totally out of place in all aspects(including the fact that he was nothing like his comic self, not even his origin). So, THANKFULLY they cut him out, & just left it Spidey n' Goblin! woo! that's how you spell relief.

I'm glad the cut him out of the script. We've all learned from the BATMAN franchise how bad multiple villians can be. Just focusing on Spidey VS Goblin is a smart move!

Just as long as they don't have the Sinister Six in the next movie, we should continue to get along just fine!

I don't see why they wouldn't put Kingpin in the next one, he is the main villian afterall!
Does Spider-Man have a chance to beat Titanic?

I think SPIDER-MAN will beat X-MEN with around $250 mill.

It's not even remotely possible that Spider Man would ever out perform Titanic at the theater. Even a powerhouse movie like the Phantom Menace couldn't pull that one off. But I am sure it will do better than the X Men. Spider Man is a more familar character, and is seen as more kid friendly, so I see where you could have more than fanboys going to this movie.

I kinda think bad old Doc Ock is Spidey's main baddy. After all, he almost married Aunt May, he was the first to soundly defeat Spidey, et cetera.
