This is the end folks. The final episode and quite possibly MegaMan's final appearance on Kids'WB(Unless there are weekday reruns later). All there is now to do is wait and see if Axess gets dubbed(by someone other than ShoPro and aired on Cartoon Network)

Episode 35:"Virus Busters!"

Time:11:30 am

___________________________________________________________

Yuuichirou Hikari has been busy developing a new technique called the "Dimensional Area". A shopping mall has allowed him to use their basement as a test area. When they begin their testing, the operation is a success!

Later on, Lan receives news that his father has suddenly gone missing. Chaud informs him about Hikari's latest developments, and so everyone (including Ms. Mari, Commander Beef and Higsby!) head to the shopping mall to search for him. When they arrive, they're greeted with the sight of a giant tree which has taken control of the entire area!

Lan and his friends decide to infiltrate the Shopping Mall, and are shocked to discover viruses roaming around every corner! But they have yet to discover the giant virus that is the direct cause of it all....the all famous Life Virus!

NOTES:

-Originally Episode 56 in the Japanese run.

-As you can tell from the title, this episode has a bit of a Ghostbusters parody in it.

-MegaMan is not listed on the schedule next week, so this may be the last time NT Warrior will air on Kids'WB. Instead they're showing the last two episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! "Final Face-Off!"

-Even though the anime is over, the NT Warrior name will unfortunately live on all the Battle Network merchendise besides the games.

Well, it's been fun guys. It's been great hosting this talkbacks for the past season. I'll be back with Scarab's edit list if there are any.

Say it with me one last time: Jack-in! MegaMan, power up!

Like I said after seeing EXE a few weeks ago, the series should have ended with the ep WB aired last week.

Anyway, I can't believe WB was ever allowed to skip 21 episodes out of the series, even with 10 of them being crappy episodes. I don't see why they just didn't air "Blue's Longest Day" (don't know the US title) in stead of this since that was a better episode and gave Enzan/Chaud some real character development.

Of course, I have noticed that this series has given the characters their personalities from the US version of the games, whereas EXE most likely gave the character's the personalities of the Jp games.

So what was the actual EXE finale in Japan?

ShoPro didn't even bother dubbing "Blues' Longest Day". In fact they altered any signs of Chaud showing any development in the whole series.

This one,actually.

That was a finale?!

Anyhow, did they ever explain who Mega Man really is?

Nope. The "MegaMan used to be Hub/Saito" plot from the games never made it to the anime or the magna.

Yep, that was the ending. Pretty disappointing wasn't it? I'll be watching the dubbed version later on, but as I said, it should have ended with last week's episode.

Trust me, the 5 episodes that came after The end of Gospel killed the series, so I am kind of happy they did skip the others.

Virus Busters and Blue's Longest Day were suppose to lead into Axess though, at least that is what I figure. I mean I don't really think Axess started right after EXE, so who knows.

Oh, did they at least keep the ending credits (well, the video) though?

They did keep the ending, but removed the credits of course.(Regular split-screen credits as usual, with part of the Pokemon Advance verison of the Pokerap no less)

Seemed more like a 2-parter to me by the ending with the tree holding the ex-Wily agents.

Nice of them not to dub a huge plot point of EXE too.

I still think ShoPro should have dubbed the other undubbed episodes.

Just for fun: Jack-in! MegaMan,power-up! :D

*Sigh* What a boring finale...the battle with the Life Virus was really disappointing. I hope that Megaman Battle Network 3 is incorporated into the show soon...That was my favorite.

Here's the edits, nothing major:

-A scene earlier in the episode that showed the World Three gang opening up their new curry shop on the island was cut.

-The kids yelling at the pilot of Yai's helicopter for crashing into the mall was cut.

-When the Navis appear in the real world, a shot of Mayl, Yai, Tory, and Dex looking amazed is cut.

-The scene of Lan plugging his PET into the wireless port while MegaMan fights the LifeVirus was cut.

-There was originally an animation mistake when Lan is slotting-in the chips during the LifeVirus fight. Originally Lan was just wearing his regular clothes colored like his jumpsuit. The dub fixes this by having Lan in the jumpsuit itself.

-When Dr.Hikari runs off at the end, he originally said he wanted to get back to his wife. In the dub he says he's going to look at the core on the other side of the island. The original was funnier, due to the way he acted.

"Hi, son! I'd love to stay and spend time with you for the first time in weeks upon weeks, but your mom's really hot! Find your own flight home!"

-On the last shot of the episode, the words "And the Adventure Continues" originally appeared.

I was actually glad they did change that as I found that quite ackward in the Jp.

Actually, there were a couple scenes of dialog that they made sound more sense in the dub than the Jp version, so not all changes were bad.

I think the Curry Shop edit was just wrong though due to the ending, and what you see with those dudes in Axess.

Anyway, even my g/f thought this ending sucked.

Toto, Axess does have the navis from both BN3 and 4. BeastMan is the first one to show up, and BubbleMan also returns often. There are even characters from Network Transmission (SwordMan, GravityMan, StarMan, etc) in it. No Zero or Duo though. Yet anyway.

Not to mention some viruses from BN3 also showed up in this
episode as well.
