I recall a while back that it was suspected the other Batman/Superman crossovers would be put on the world's finest DVD, I think the remaing episodes will all be released under either Batman The Animated Series, or Superman the animated series titles depending on whoever the stars in the episode of course , including the new batman adevtures, they may just be released as Batman TAS...

I would be absolutely fine if they never put out a Worlds Finest DVD as long as the episodes that comprised the "movie" got put out in the season sets from that show.

no what Im saying is I think they are going to take all the crossover episodes and put them on that disc and then all the ones starring Batman and superman will be released in their respective sets, meaning the crossover eps wont be in those sets all the Batman TAS, New Batman Adventures, and New Adventures of Batman and Superman that are batman only eps, will be released under the title of Batman The Animated Series, and all the other superman shows will be released under the title superman the aimated series, so they mihgt not be released in actual chronologicval season sets, but close, theyll have three dvd catorgories 9keep in mind this is only MY guess at their plans) Batman,Superman,World's Finest, since some of the seasons were huge they will be released in Volumes, but will be released in order sans the crossovers since they are coming out on their own DVD

I know what you are saying. And all I am saying is I don't think I like what WB's plans are. I'd rather see COMPLETE season sets of the episodes, with the cross over episodes in their repsective season sets, and not made available on a separate DVD.

Have we heard definitive plans for the DVD sets yet? Has info come out saying that they are NOT planning season sets?

Say it's not so...

No official word yet, but rest assured this is the place you'll likely read about it first once Warner makes the official press release on it!

The DVDs are definatly on the way. A rep for WB Home Video Entertainment confirmed it during a WB chat event held in October. It was plastered all over the newspage for days on end! I'm still not sur eif WB will double up the episodes, putting the episode on more than one DVD. That is what they'd have to do for some crossover episodes. Then again, 3 of the 4 crossover stories were featured in the SUPERMAN series, with only one (GIRLS NITE OUT) being a Batman story.

Well, I was talking about a press release stating the specs of the DVDs, the street date, price, etc. Maybe I should have been more clear. We all know they are coming out. It's just a matter of how and when and for how much at this point.
