Oh yes, several times back in the mid-nineties when the Turner networks had no problem showing this, as well as "A Feather in His Hare" and "Slightly Daffy".

You mean back when Indians could be on TV, even in new shows.

I'm surprised they haven't stopped airing that H-B TV movie, what was it called, "The First Thanksgiving Ever!"?, or that Thanksgiving episode of Animaniacs (one of my no. 1 favorites of the series) in which the Warners ARE Indians. It turns out some Indian groups are offended by the "myth of Thanksgiving," so elementary schools should not be allowed to celebrate it with pageants, plays, colored in images of Indians, and Oreo cookie turkeys!

Makes me wonder if my old 3rd grade elementary school still has Aztec/Mayan Day...

I liked coloring in those chubby Indians!:D

If anyone is surprised that the (surviving) natives of the americas might take offense with european's version of history:

1. read the history that is NOT in the school texts. - Wounded Knee comes to mind, as does the fact that the last Ohone (his name was Ishi) died in 1923, shortly after coming out of hiding following what would be the last massacre of his tribe by whites.

2. Visit a 'reservation'

3. Visit a museum displaying the results of grave desecration.

Why don't they like us, after all we've done for them?
