I am really interested in issue #4, with the vengeful Amazons reaking havoc. This story probably focuses on Wondie (YAY!!!), but I am so disappointed that Ku is doing the artwork again! Come on DC: Give Delaney the regular art chores and have Amancio and others fill in every now and again! Ku just doesn't have the right stuff!

I think the cover alone shows that Ku is very, very talented. Not all artist would draw around 100 or so Amazons. Personally, I'd like to see a rotating but regular art team. Something like Ku, then Rousseau, Delaney (if his work has improved), and Almancio. And just have them rotate.

Hmmm, Starro! Wonder if this will in any way tie into the events we saw in Batman Beyond!

That was my first thought too.

I, personally, am not too fond of Batman Beyond, but I am a fan of continuity. With a rotating creative team, I doubt that this author got in contact with the staff of JL or with Dini to discuss how to write a Starro story that fit in with the JL continuity and the Batman Beyond episodes "The Call". After all, if the original JL, including Superman, knew about Starro and fought him/it before, than the revelations in Part Two of The Call clearly wouldn't make any sense...

Therefore, I am guessing that this will be a stand-alone story involving an old JL comic's villain, in this case Starro, with no bearing on his previous animated appearance on an entirely different show.
