Has anyone else seen these advertising "The Batman"? They're awesome! I couldn't be happier to see these on Kids WB! I bet we can expect more as the days tick by! If you missed them today, you can see grabs, sounds, and video, we posted them up on our forum earlier.

I hate the joker more and more as I see more commercials and images of him. God why did they have to make him look like one of the wessels in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Maybe it's just me, but the animation of the mouth of Catwoman was...weird.

I think all Bat fans should give it a try.. I think most of us will go into it with negative feelings, which could ruin it for us. I'll watch it and try to stay neutral. We allmight like it! :o

Maybe you should try to give The Joker a shot. ;) He doesn't look the greatest but he has a sick design (in a good way) his faces still look creepy and awesome. Out of the whole show he's the only thing that looks ok so far...

Well I still don't like the Joker design and Im sure I never will however I do like Catwomans look. Its better than her latest Timm design in my opinion and matches the current comic one very nicely.

Yeah...I always liked the new Catwoman look in the comics. But her voice seemed...imature.:sad:I haven't seen any tv spots for The Batman yet, so I don't know just exactly what you mean by immature. If you're meaning "young," then I have to point out that this is supposed to be an earlier Bats, so it would make sense that all the people in his world look/ act/ sound younger.

If you mean immature in the more traditional sense, then again, she's younger, and you have to remember that Selena has matured quite a bit over the years.

Yeah. You do make a point there. It's just that I am very much used to the 'mature' Selina. I'll watch The Batmanm, even if only to catch a glimpse of a younger Selina.

Impressed? Nope. Was I meant to be?

The reason I'm not impressed is, because there is nothing there. I'm sick and tired of hearing "Bring on the Batman". I'm sick and tired of only getting brief glimpses of things. I can't make a judgement on what I've seen, I'm niether impressed with it as a whole or unimpressed. I suppose I just want the show to speak for it's self and not have some 6-7? year olds speaking for it.

here, take this from a married, "normal" 30 year guy that saw the ManBat episode at SDCC:

the art is amazing. the voices are near perfect (to be set apart from the series we already love). oh, did i say the art is amazing? AMAZING. red skies, car chases, backdrops, close ups on faces...really done well.

this show will be a lot of fun!

Thank you Tyke, my thoughts exactly. I was there too and witnessed the great episode also. I agree the commercials ar brief, but at least its SOMETHING. And from watching the episode at SDCC, the idea that Kids WB! is trying to put out about "its a kid show" is false. From what I witnessed, it was not kiidy at all. I must admit though, if I was 10 I;d still love it.

In some ways, I think more adults will like it than Kids.. my son hates the joker. He's 6. He says he's "Freaky" and "scary" lol

The joker's laugh is kinda weak. Mark Hamil did it so much better. I would rather them just reboot the series with the old voices. Especially since they already fit so well.

GO here and listen to more sounds:

I think that the two Jokers sound close to the same..

They just showed the penguin one, my guesses were correct lol! I like his voice, his hair is kinda weird though :D The promo shots look better.

I'm not too crazy on the voice either. In fact, I can't say I'm impressed with Catoman or the Joker either. I didn't want something that sounded like Mark Hamil, and Catwoman just really irks me with that immature voice of hers... ah well, Ron Pearlman as Killer Croc just CAN'T go wrong :D

(this is not to say the voices are BAD (except the Penguins, but yeah :p), I'm just a little irked by them. Easy to get used to though)

I still think Joker's voice is wrong for the design and wrong all together. Too deep and it souns like Kevin Michael Richardson's regular voice. He barely even changed it to fit the character. To me it will never sound good cause it doesn't sound good. Even the old 70's Joker voice sounded better then this and had a better design.

Yeah, I saw this earlier today. I gotta say meh. Penguin's voice is alright, I guess. Joker is dead on. I think he's going to do just fine.

I guess i got so use to Mark hamil being Joker. It does not seem right to have anyone else playing him. I miss Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil. Well at least we get them on JLU

To me I am used to them but i gave the voices a chance. I think Rino Romaro is doing pretty well but man the Joker voice has to be the worst I have ever heard in my life. Ceaser Romaro was better as Joker then Kevin ever will. He sounds too corny. Peguin's is good but I will never like the Joker voice. Too deep and too stupid sounding. I guess it's fine for the very bad Joker Design so if you look at the design and how bad that is. Can you really expect a good voice? Prolly not.

If the Joker's voice annoys me now and it's just a commercial. I can imagine a whole episode with him. I will prolly shoot myself. Kevin was the worst choice. Everything he does sounds exactly the same. I can pic his voice out of a line up.

Tom Kenney doesn't really change his voice much these days. It works, though, as his voice his very odd to begin with.

At first I loathed the Joker's voice solely based on the fact that it wasn't Mark Hamill's, but now that I'm more used to the look of the character, Kevin's basso profundo sound seems fitting. I've become very intrigued with this show—I mean, hey, I hated Teen Titans when it came out, then I caught the Mad Mod episode and got hooked. Let's give this Batman a shot.

Kevin was the worst choice. Everything he does sounds exactly the same. I can pic his voice out of a line up. I can pick Tom Kenney's out. And Billy West's, and Mark Hamill's, and Ian Cortlett's, and Scott McNeil's, etc. Just because an actor has one solid voice doesn't mean he's any less talented.
