Well, you know what I'm sayin, know what you mean? I say that B+W had some cheesy shows, so color for thy most part.

Well it is definitely color for me, especially with how society is now, you rarely see anything in black and white.. But of course, I have no problems with watching shows that are black and white: I love Lucy, Bewitched, Three Stooges.. Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I tend to regard the two different modes as being best assessed on an individual basis. The Twilight Zone, for example, simply wouldn't be as effective in color (I'd point to the recent failed remake, but that was as much addled by poor writing). I think a lot of dramas can be bettered by the austere stylishness of black and white.

Cartoons, however, seem to do better in color. Comedies, likewise, would seem better in black and white in rare cases, otherwise I think color does well by them.

B&W caused me to only think of times before the 1960's to be in Black and White. I'm a child of the 90's, so B&W doesn't work for me, except when it is used for awesome effect or the TV show is just so old.

It depends upon the material, I would only watch something intended to be in black and white in black and white and something intended to be in color in color. They both have their strengths and I don't particularly have a definite preference of either, as long as the material is faithfully displayed.

I prefer color more just because I was born into it, but B&W aren't always too bad. I used to get scared out of my mind watching B%W when I was young, because for me to believe that little kids from the 30's were like old people now. I enjoy watching Three Stooges. I thinks that's the only B&W.
