When you tell a story, you're not supposed to leave out any important parts, much less the most important parts of all. I mean, look at this past season of "Seventh Heaven", where many what-should-be-poignant moments (car accident, anyone?) were reduced to just being after-the-fact monologues. That said, how about when cartoons leave out seemingly-important bits of the story? Let's start with:
* The Weekenders, "Croquembouche" (the one with Carver and a cake): So we're at some food presentation contest, and Carver has a cake. Tino is outro-ing the story, and it's not unusual to see a small bit of story after the outro. As a result, I had been expecting to see how Carver ended up faring in the contest... but instead, the story just faded out from Tino yelling "Way to go!" at Carver without showing the final result whatsoever.
* Rocket Power, "The Big Day": After all the hype about Ray marrying Noelani, hype that had been established for just over a year I might add, they didn't even show the most important part about a story about a wedding: the exchange of vows.
