Letterbox...well, I'm awful at vocab, so I'm hoping you mean widescreen! Yeah, every Sunday at 8:30 PM they'll have the JL widescreen version (that time applies to the pilot, too!).

I am so giddy with excitement! I was watching the Superfriends marathon today (I love Boomerang), and even though it was the awful early ones with Wendy and Marvin, I was so excited, I can't believe this is actually happening! The JL commercial didn't do any help calming me down, either! 8 DAYS!

The premiere will be full screen (SATURDAY) and widescreen (SUNDAY). It was originally thought to be just widescreen, but I got confirmation it would be both.

I can't believe we're this close to the premeire...I remember when I first heard about this...and it seemed like a long, long, long time ago...now, we're finally around the corner...we're walking down that narrow road to the premeire of Justice League...we're almost there...seemed like it took forever, like there was about a million road blocks, but we're almost there...just six more days to go! Can you actually believe this is happening? It still seems to good to be true...six more days!

YOu brought up an interesting thought, JusticeLeagueLegion (had to cut and paste that name to make sure I got it right). I remember.....back when Chip announced it on the Raving Toy Maniac Boards. I don't remember exactly what he said, but I do remember one line: "You guys are gonna be thrilled when this is officially announced."

And officially announced it was! I remember the excitement that Bruce Timm would head it, and the disappointment that Paul Dini wouldn't be involved.

And the lineup discussions....OH, the lineup discussions! Besides the obvious, everyone from Green Arrow to Firestorm was mentioned. And then the list was announced, and everyone was like, "Where the heck's Green Arrow?" :)

And then next came...the designs! The eternal long ears vs. short ears debate started, but overall people were happy.

And then after that was the announcemtn of the voices. Just to feel useful, I e-mailed the news staff here after reading it at the Continuum, because I'm sure they'd never have found it without me :D :D :D

After that was all the guest stars, villains, JSA (not anymore :( ), everything!

And now we're here...a mere 6 days before the permiere...wow. Hard to believe.

Between wrestling and JL? No dilema :D 'Sides, I've become a big Samurai Jack fan (anyone have episodes on tape? I missed a ton), and that's right before JL.

So what did everybody think...now that the countdown is over, we've finally seen the premeire of Justice League...what's funny is, that even after I watched it, I still couldn't beleive that I watched it. It seemed unreal...but there it was...I was really watching it...it wasn't just a dream! The characters were so cool...and did anybody notice that the same guy who talks for Young Clark Kent (and Snapper Carr on JL) also talked for other people on the JL premeire. I think there was at least two other people aside from Snapper that he talked for...one of them being a fireman, I beleive. What an ausome show this was...the backgrounds: Ausome! Story: Ausome! It was excelent...anybody see the previews for tommorow's episode? It's obviously the "In Blackest Night" episode. It also has the Manhunters on it. Looks pretty cool...can't wait to see more episodes. And for those of you that thought that Batman was just going to be useless in the show since he doesn't have any powers, you're wrong...in the pilot he took out tons of bad guys...he was even swinging Superman to safety once. (Although that explosion wouldn't have killed him, it was still a nice gesture on Batman's part.) What I'm saying is...they made Batman needed on the team, without making him pull "Baterang Balloons" out of his pocket like the Super Friends Batman did in the "Revenge On Gorrilla City" episode of Superfriends. I expect the next episode to give us more backup data on John Stewart, and some future episode to explain Hawkgirl.

In my last message I said that Hawkgirl will probably be explained more in future episodes, but so far, (after seeing the two-part "In Blackest Night" episode) we only know that she was a cop on Thanagar. Think we'll learn more about her later? Don't spoil anything for me, just let me know if you know anything. I don't know much about her comic book counterpart at all except that she's the wife of Hawkman and that her real name is Shayer Hall. (Or something like that) But anyway...anybody know of any future episode that will spot-light her?

She will get her spotlight episode and it will feature more information on her background. The reason why information has been so sparse on her is becuase, well, that lack of information is leading up to the Hawkgirl focused episode.
