View Full Version : Whereabout are Animaniacs and P&TB?

Perhaps during my consumption of yummy, superfluous, un-dispensed Halloween candy, I missed something that occurred...

It seems that A! isn't on Nickelodeon at 4:30/5:30 PM. I don't see it in TV Guide for any other time. Nor is it in Nick's own TV listings. The Slime Time part of their website shows A! as being on at 5:30 PM Eastern...Which it is not.

Seems to be the same situation for P&TB.

So, does anyone know what Nick has done, and why? Poit!

More confused than what passes for usual, NARF!

I was about to post the same question, but you beat me to it. ;) Nick evidently doesn't want to put A! back up. It's not on 7:30/6:30 C in the morning either.

As for PatB, I think that's still on at 5:30/4:30 C in the morning. (Though I'd never wake up that early...)

...about TTA.

Not only do we wonder what they'll do to its intro, but will they time-shift/pre-empt/cause-to-fall-off-the-face-of-the-Earth TTA as well?

I checked my listings, and "Animaniacs" is now airing Sunday morning at 6:00.

Nickelodeon has gone too far, now. Treating this wonderful show like a second-class citizen; someone should fix this.......

I did something....you know how on Nick.com they have "Write to Nick"? I sent them a line. See if they can ignore that! :D

And, in case anyone's interesting, this other kid wrote about Spongebob. They responded "It's not going anywhere". Just thought I should tell you.

Therein lies the irony. They seemed anxious to acquire A! and P&TB (No doubt spending a bit of money for them) yet they move them around and make their presence scarce, poit.

I should see how much it'll cost to buy Nickelodeon, let alone Viacom. I'll make an opening offer at *one* pile of link, NARF! Wahahahahaaa!

What's worse is that Nick had only shown A! for about two months before they decided to move it. What is the reasoning behind this, especially when ten year old episodes of Rugrats are still getting the best prime time spots. The only things I even watch on Nick nowadays are Spongebob and the Fairly Oddparents.

Man, I miss A! on CN...

Nick's giving the royal treatment to all the Nicktoons this month, so anything that's not a Nicktoon is off the afternoons for the duration. I weep.

Cursed Nickelodeon!!! They've managed to destroy every aspect of two of my favorite shows ever, and discard them like their nothing! Perhaps I'm a little bitter, but I can't stand it when people mess with my shows. I'm still hoping they'll both wind of on Cartoon Network.

Well, it would be nice if those two shows returned to Cartoon Network. I'm quite a bit wiser after what Nickelodeon has done, poit.

I'm just unsure if A! and P&TB can be fit into what appears to be a rather crowded CN schedule.

All the more reason to have a channel devoted to Warner toons, but I've said all I'm gonna say before, so I won't. Between all the Nicktoons & all the Cartoon Cartoon Cartoons, WB is being squeezed out form both sides; it's a wonder Freakazoid hasn't been touched. Hey, P&tB airs in the same timeslot & it's been cut in half. We need Toon TV. I can see @ least 6 cartoon channels: CN, Boomerang, ToonD*sn*y, Toon TV, Toonami, & Cartoon Land (for the Lantz, Terry, Harvey, UPA, ScreenGems etc. toons). Maybe the Hallmark Channel could get their Filmation collection out of mothballs; I might tune in to see Fat Albert & I have some animated Star Trek eps in my collection.
