There are promotions in NYC with Volkswagon Beetles outside the big TRU decked out with Tamagotchi paint jobs and decals...Tamagotchi Connection is the name of the new line...
Take heart in knowing that the end of the world is near....and that a Digimon revival can't be far behind...

Tamagotchi was so popluar when I was in Middle School. I used to have two of them the original and the angel one. I also had a Digimon. But sadly I got rid of them because I didn't had the time(or the batteries to replace them with) for them. Luckily, I still have the Tamagotchi for Gameboy. :D

The heavy footsteps have been a long time incoming ever since the revival was announced in Japan months ago....
I actually got my original at a years-old Otakon as a gift. I knew many around me who played with it, but I only took out the battery slip once just to check it out before slipping it back in. Never used since then; still have it today. Didn't have time to devote raising it.

I had like....5 Tamagotchis. 1 had a leopard print, one was red, one was green, one was a Salem "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" exclusive, and the last was small and it was purple.
As for Digimon, I got me a D-Power, like Rika's. Impmon stole Kyubimon away from me ;_; And I can't slash the blue card through it anymore....doesn't work.

Well I still use my Godzilla Tamagotchi. Plus I have the entire Nano Fighters collection. However it would be cool to get a newer one with 16 bit graphics. :D
