Big Apple Comic Con

This weekend Harley and I will be going to our first comic book convention, the Big Apple Con (http://www.bigapplecon.com/nationals.html). Having never been to a con before, I really have no idea what to expect. What I'm most looking forward to is buying a bunch of back issues that I need to fill out my collection. And meeting quasi-celebrities is nice too (click on the link for a list). Is anybody else going to be there?

I'm not, but I do know somebody who frequently goes to the Kansas City Con every year. In addition to back issues and celebrities, you should also be able to find plenty of hard to find videos there, like of the live action JL pilot (which a friend of mine owns, but hasn't lent it to me yet because I guess it's so awful, even worse than the Fantastic Four movie, which was pretty painful to watch) and even a good plethora of student films. And some of the student movies I've seen come out of these conventions are actually well done. That is if you're looking for that kind of stuff!
