I just noticed this....Most users ever online was 124 on 11-07-2001 at 09:04 PM.

That was just moments ago! It broke the previous record set back in August! Took long enough!

Very cool! We seem to get over 100 everyday, but it never quite reached 118, until now. I hope it's not another 3 months until this record is broken.

What's interesting is that the previous record was due to the premiere of Samurai Jack. This record is just due to daily use and no special event. That's proof that Toonzone is growing. I wonder what the numbers will be after the premiere of JL? We could definitely see another record there.

That's cool. I probably wouldn't have noticed had it not been mentioned. I'm pretty sure it can be broken again soon. I mean, JL in less than two weeks? Oh yeah...

That's wicked! I like seein' how this place just keeps growing and growing. I see new faces here all the time, and it's sorta exciting. I was wondering whe that record was gonna be broke, too. It came close a few nights back, with about 110 people.

With the number of hits this site has been getting lately (I believe it's almost double in the past month alone than what all of Toon Zone saw in 2000) it wouldn't suprise me at all if we broke the 200 mark soon. Of course, it surprised me quite a bit that we went from August to November to break the previous record, but like Brian said, that was just on a normal night. With JL coming out, we should see more traffic.

I can't wait to see how much more people come on here. With almost 800 registered members, I'm actually suprised it's taken this long to reach 124 at once. But when new shows start coming on, I bet we're gonna get a helluva lot more.

Does it register down on that counter if people are just here looking at the news board? Or do they have to be on the forums themselves?

Yep, the folks reading the news are counted in the currently active users thing. That counter knows no boundaries... =)
