Batgirl vs Talia (REMATCH!!!!)=Batgirl the victor
Catwoman vs Roxy Rocket (REMATCH!!!)=Catwoman
Batgirl vs Harley ( I always loved those)=Batgirl every time
Catwoman vs Rec Claw (REMATCH!!!)=Catwoman (duh)
Batgirl vs Catwoman(they neevr really got to throw down)=CW
Batgirl vs Poison Ivy=Batgirl

Yep, I changed it. I was planning on changing it at post 1000, but at the rate I'm going, it will be quite a while until I get there.

Plus, Maxie was joking about how I never change my avatar, so I figured I'd surprise him. So far the response seems pretty positive.

yeah, catwoman should have beat the hell out of red claw. from the first time i saw "the cat and the claw" i was anticipating the two of them having a big catfight at the end, and i was SOOOO disappointed to see catwoman get beat so badly. she didnt even get a shot in on red claw. WHATS THE DEAL WITH THAT?! that really ruined the episode for me. seriously, selina should have wooped that biach like there was no tomorrow.

Batgirl v. Talia would be a good one, very close fight. Talia beat the crap out of her last time they met fighting (B&RA #9), but Babs outlasted her with some help from some tear gas she made up. I want to see an all-out brawl between the two of them...

The way The Cat and The Claw was set up, it would make sense for Red Claw to beat Catwoman in the sense that I can't explain it :D

Harley can really throw down, from what I've seen of her. Poison Ivy seems less reliant on her actual strength (though in eps like "Eternal Youth," it looked like she had more muscles than Batman) than on her plant gimmicks. Ten can fight, but I don't think she'd last long against more seasoned fighters like Catwoman, Batgirl or even Poison Ivy. Mercy . . . geez, she is SCARY. I think she coud snap Ten in two and she'd probably hand Poison Ivy her butt.

It'd be interesting to see Barda and Mercy. That might become fatal.

yeah, mercy is strong. she's well trained. a fight between her and catwoman would be great.

but i think poison ivy can fight okay. she made quick work of the joker's goons in "harley and ivy", whipping out some unexpected martial arts moves. not bad. plus she was up and ready to fight livewire at the iceburg lounge before penguin waddled is big butt into the scene. id say ivy has a few moves we've yet to see.

as far as ten is concerned, um, i'd say any of the orignal gotham girls could take her. i love ten, but she didnt really exhibit any great fighting skills in bb. plus, shes very young and probably lacking the experience and training of the others.

but a melanie/dana fight, now that would be nice.

Ah, a girl after my own... eh... heart.:D

I don't think they gave the Melanie/10 character much development in BB. I don't remember her having a big character revelation or moment to shine, unlike Harley, Catwoman or even Mercy. Melanie was just a mirror character for Terry. With more effort to give her some distinction, she could have become Terry's Catwoman. She's probably very well trained and experienced too. She is a member of the Royal Flush Gang. She was just never showcased on the show.

I would have liked to see Terry convert Melanie into a good guy. They could have become partners. Bruce could have trained her. We could have seen the relationship between her and Terry blossom. Can you say love triange? Oh, missed opprotunities.

Especially love their hair and clothes.

I agree with the incosistency in fighting ability. It's bothered me as well. Like, Dick can hold his own against Kyodie Ken in "N of the N," but Catwoman lassoes him no problem in "BG Returns."

I believe that the outcome of fight can depend a lot on the conditions of the fight, as well as dumb luck and frame of mind (Bruce was afraid of Kyodie and nervous because the reporter was watching, but Robin was confident.) But, it got rediculous a few times, esopecially in Lois' case. It's an example of sloppy writing; Characters going against type to serve the plot.

Ya like how in Brave New metropolis Lois and Mercy were neck and neck, and again in that ep w/ the light guy where he put Lois in that 'cage' of lasers, she kicked him twice

. . . but in The late mister Kent, the inspector guy pushes her off the stairs with almost no effort at all. I mean, come on, even a girly knee-to-the-crothch wouldve sufficed

ya that was a pretty good fight, even tho from what we saw Harl only got one hit in while Mercy got more than she shouldve (4 that we saw), and thats just not cool.. the sounds in the backgound obviously suggest that there's more than what we saw, but still...I think Harl couldve held her won bette than they let her....and I wouldve liked to see that fight in its entirety , not just what was going on as they wandered onto the center of the screen. . .

Glad to see this thread back again. I've never really liked Catwoman. I don't like cats and I think Catwoman is a high-maintenance, nut-job. I much prefer Babs.

I always liked how Harley yelled "Banzai" as she charged at Mercy. Karate Kid references make me chuckle. ;)

About Lois; She has too be both strong female lead and damsel in destress depending on the script, sigh. I guess it's the best they could do to blend the golden age-"save me" Lois to the near Batman-like, martial arts expert/sleuth Lois of the 80's.
