Hello all! I recently sent this same message to IGN so that I could get a little more exposure on this. I've been coming to this site for a year now and have enjoyed the site and the boards. BTW, the new boards are GREAT!! Anyways onto the news and the request for help...
As a "He-Fan" I thought I would pass this along because we fans and Lou Scheimer, executive producer of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, need as much help as we can get. I'll give ya a short summary of what is going on and then I'll give ya some links that you can get more info from.
As I said, Lou Scheimer was the executive producer of the original He-Man TV show and he and his studio want to make a new He-Man series as soon as they can. The obstacle that is in the way though is they need Mattel's OK to do it. From what I have learned so far Lou Scheimer Productions has spoken to some of the original voice actors and animators and they said they would love to do it! Lou Scheimer plans on going to Mattel on June 15 to ask them for permission to go ahead with the new show. What Lou wants from us the fans are letters to take to Mattel with him. They want us to send a snail mail letter to Lou Scheimer Productions, NOT Mattel, BUT have the actual letter itself be addressed to Mattel.
Below is the address for Lou Scheimer Productions and some very important links. Also below is what Lou Scheimer Productions is looking for in a letter to Mattel. By the way, if your wondering what is up with the original He-Man and She-Ra series well, here is the latest. Hallmark Entertainment has the rights to both shows. They recently gave permission to The Odyssey Channel to air those shows. Both shows have been sent to Odyssey's programming department and are currently under consideration for broadcasting hopefully sometime this year. GREAT NEWS!

Please tell them in your own words that you would like to see He-Man and MOTU brought back by the original creators of it (Lou Scheimer). Please tell them that you would watch the show, purchase videos and any or all memorabilia connected with a new series. Please let them know, as it touched and effected you when you were children, so would you like to do the same for your children.
Please keep it under a page.
